Apparently the development team behind the Lion King were under the impression that they were working on a homage to Kimba the entire time and were shocked when Disney began denying any association to Kimba and selling the film as a 'first original disney story'

On another note, if the guy's name is Tankor, why does he have propellers? What's his vehicle mode?

His modes are a tanker truck and a cargo plane, presumably carrying tanks of fuel as he's originally listed as a fueller.

Of course, with the "or" suffix, "Tank" becomes a verb. So he's not fuelling, he's tanking. Make of that what you will (:

Well, one of the onlookers says he's Jewish. I thought it was a nod to the fact that Superman's creators (Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel) are Jewish.
