I thought that house was awesome!, such effort for one night!

Watched Grave Encounters and The Fourth Kind tonight, both were quite good films but very different from each other.
    • Grave Encounters: Shot Blair Witch style but very well done, made me want to go on a Ghost Tour.
    • The Fourth Kind: Combination Documentary/Sci-Fi film, definitely a good watch but I was left wanting more.

Tomorrow night's viewing will be Frozen and a Re-Viewing of The Exorcism of Emily Rose.

Only my wife made me stay and watch the whole thing.

I felt so ripped off with that movie. The same with Signs. Why the hell would aliens invade a planet that is 3/4 covered in a product that can kill them? That would be like Earthlings invading a planet that doesn't have oxygen. Just stupid IMO of course.
Indeed it is! I enjoyed the movie throughout, however I can see the ending won't be to everyone's liking.

You mean "The Thing from Another World" (1951) or John Carpenter's "The Thing"? (1982)? Seen it before?

You can't go wrong with those two, superb choices! Frozen in particular scared the absolute **** out of me, it really gets under your skin in a way that few films do. *shudders*

For a bit of 80's fun I'm going to add "Night of the Demons" to my list. Looks like a bit of a laff.

Hasn't been mentioned yet but YES, it's a must-see film! And you're right about the ending. Asian horror often has a knack for leaving a lasting impression for all the wrong reasons, another example being Audition. *clings onto prayer rug*

I found Sunshine real interesting. Totally switched from a sci-fi to slasher horror flick. Really liked it. Although being a Chris Evans fan Mace's death was sad

Event Horizon and the Alien Franchise are easily the kings of this crop.
