    +1 to Rottnest island. I stayed there for a few days last year, very relaxing!
    A day trip is well worth it too, the train/bunker tour is one worth doing.

    Lol. I've lived in Perth all my life (40 years) and have never been to Rottnest.

    The longest federal election campaign since 1969.... as if we haven't had enough of politicians (and Prime Ministers) in our faces in recent years, now we have to face 2 months of them headlining the news programs and papers.

    That's it, I'm off to hibernate. Wake me up when it's July 3rd...

    I spoke too soon. 'Net conked out on Friday night and only got up again this evening. But now we have no gas/hot water and won't be back up until tomorrow! All this on top of an incredibly crappy day at work... oh yeah...

    Hmmm maybe use this to mention to the missus that the Feng Shui might be out of whack in the house. Could be a good time to pitch for that larger Transformer room again!
