The longest federal election campaign since 1969.... as if we haven't had enough of politicians (and Prime Ministers) in our faces in recent years, now we have to face 2 months of them headlining the news programs and papers.

I spoke too soon. 'Net conked out on Friday night and only got up again this evening. But now we have no gas/hot water and won't be back up until tomorrow! All this on top of an incredibly crappy day at work... oh yeah...

Take a moment to feel for the Americans who's presidential selection goes for a year and a half. Or other countries in the world who's only elections are military coups.
