    Default FansProject: "Retro-Future" Glacialbots

Vangelus and Peaugh have both posted reviews of the, seemingly, long dormant Glacialbots from FansProject - Based on Prehistoric Ice Age Mammals in an extremely G1 Combiner Toy-based aesthetic.

Vangelus shows us "Retro-Future" Tail Club and Peaugh provides a look at "Retro-Future" Fangro.

Meh. I have zero interest. That may change when I see the combined mode though.

How many years ago did those first pictures of these first appear? Was soon after the first release of Commander wasn't it?

Those are the most hideously awesome toys I've seen outside of dollar shops. I completely approve of these and will buy them. I hate the airy-fairyness of modern poseability, and these are more a homage to/parody of G1 Transformers concepts than a rip-off of intellectual property. I wish Hasbro would do this. #%@* Eighties characters with modern engineering, I want 21st Century characters with Eighties engineering.

Whilst these are pretty cool, there is so much official stuff thay is coming out that look fantastic that I have to decide to stick to that rather than third party stuff coz I just can't afford it all.

They look great though and would love to see the combined mode when its finished.
