Mr Gone and the Turtles arrived today. The Mr Gone is great, and the movie TMNT figures are pretty cool, if a little over articulated for my liking (too many joints makes an unsteady turtle!).

The kreo have arrived. Well packed and in good condition. Pretty stoked about it
My live action TMNT figures (SDCC Version) that i preordered from BBTS have gone down in price to $20.99 each, which coincidentally is the same price as the "ships to US addresses only" versions.

Interesting. I wonder if BBTS will cancel shipments to outside the US?
I received mine (TRU > MyUS) last week, and while I dig them, there's a tonne of detail lost in the missing paint apps that were on the prototype Leo shown last year...
In other news: I also received my SDCC 30th Anniversary Raphael. #sodamnawesome
Mine are still unpaid for, but they're in my PoL .
I'll let you know what happens when i fix it up
My Hordak and Imp arrived, but not the Imp chest... as it wasn't ready for SDCC.
Hopefully the dealer I bought from will eventually ship it...
IMP CHEST WILL BE SHIPPED TO YOU AT A LATER DATE(Mattel was not ready with them at SDCC so they will be shipped to buyers once they become available)
Since this was my first "Classics" MOTU, I didn't realise that they were a different scale, making them taller. If I go for other characters that were never released in the original series, they are going to stand out a bit on the shelf.
Very nice though, and Imp is just as adorable as he was on the cartoon.

These guys are fun. Snarl's plates are in the way of just about every conceivable pose, but he has an awesomely creepy conjoined twin beast mode head in his right leg. If Slug had been released fifteen years ago he would have been a Basic Transmetal 2, but in 2014 he's a Deluxe. Yay! Strafe makes a pretty good two-headed Swoop. Grimlock has a chompy jaw. The Ark is a petrifying pop-up set that I may or may not set up later on. Beautifully thought-out packaging though, including TFCC-style foam for the dinos.
The Turtles payment went through ok & are currently sitting in my PoL. Looks like the SDCC versions aren't subject to the Playmates International shipping restriction
