Received my KO MP Ratbat today...quite impressed actually!

Fairly small haul lately, trying to slow right down on spending. Got BW Cheetor (with green eyes) and junker G1 Flame off Demonac via Liegeprime. Good stuff. Cheetor looks good on my small Maximal shelf. Need to bolster their ranks a bit

As far as I'm aware the Takara animated figures aren't necesarily metallic so much as they are shiny and the Habro ones are a matte finish, much more like the appearance of the show

+1, exactly what UM said. They look shiny on the red parts. Instead of a matte finish, just looks good to.

I have seen the Mashers one a couple of times at my local Big W and whilst I quite like it, I don't like it enough to spend $30 on it

That price to me is just a joke so I'll wait until it hits $20 or less and in the meantime I'll enjoy this awesome little mashup-ridiculousness that is Angry Birds: Soundwave-Pig!
