Default RtS Demolition Rumble & Deep Dive bio and pics

Demolition Rumble from the Hasbro website, mirrored at Seibertron.

DEMOLITION RUMBLE is little more than a low-down dirty thug. Loudmouthed, violent and destructive, he’s the ultimate DECEPTICON foot soldier. He loves any mission that involves wholesale destruction. It’s not uncommon to hear his shrill, maniacal laughter as his pile drivers shake a structure to pieces.
Note that it is a Scout sized figure. Frenzy maybe released in a later wave.

Deep Dive from the Hasbro website, mirrored at Seibertron.

DEEP DIVE loves the sea. Floating on the calm, dark blue waters of the deepest ocean with land nowhere in sight, he can finally relax and reflect. Far away from DECEPTICONS and AUTOBOTS alike, he contemplates the true meaning of life. He appears outwardly calm, but inside his mind roils with philosophical concepts both complex and mundane. One day soon, when the war finally ends, he hopes to share his thoughts with his fellow warriors, and show them that there are more important things in life than mere victory.
Note that the bio is vague enough to still not know if this is a Decepticon or Autobot.

(Not happy that they've swapped the colours around again, with Rumble being blue like the Gen1 cartoon - Rumble is red in all other mediums)

    shrill, maniacal laughter
I was under the impression that 'shrill' meant high pitched. Quite the opposite of a rumble and perhaps more related to a 'frenzy'. God I wish Hasbro would buy a dictionary and use it for these things.

As for Deep Dive. Blech colours. I am not sure if it's my eyes playing tricks on me, but I think I see the slight forming of an Autobot symbol in his rub-sign.

Ya know, FIRRIB in RtS does NOT change the fact that it's RIRFIB in almost every other medium. Basically this will just mean that it's FIRRIB in the G1 cartoon and Reveal The Shield... but it's still RIRFIB in the overwhelming majority of other G1 mediums.

I think in the end I might just get the Hasbro RtS versions of these toys, despite the FIRRIB -- but when I play with them they'll be RIRFIB in the Gokiverse. :/ It still bugs me though. Gah.

I'm also unimpressed with Rumble's bio attributing his earthquake generating ability to piledrivers. Rumble's original G1 bio states that he generates low-frequency seismic waves into the ground to create earthquakes. That's one thing I liked about the original bios for Rumble, Frenzy and Soundwave -- they all had abilities that were related to sound... (Soundwave has super hearing and Frenzy's a Banshee) which was cool cos it suited the theme of them having audio equipment as alt modes. The cartoon kinda missed the point when they changed the nature of Rumble's ability to that of using piledrivers (although at least he still had it - Frenzy never used his Banshee powers in the cartoon -- it was used once by Soundwave (in the form of 'audio disruptor waves') in "The Ultimate Doom" - but Frenzy himself suffered the indignity of being a 'Rumble clone' in the G1 cartoon )

And if they really wanted to make RtS Rumble create earthquakes with piledrivers... does the toy have piledrivers? That's one thing I liked about Galaxy Force Rumble (aka Cybertron Scrapmetal) -- his hands could transform into piledrivers; a nice touch. It'd be nice if Rumble came with piledriver hands and Frenzy came with loudspeaker hands (which would be a homage to the "Super Banshee" upgrade that Wheeljack did on him in Generation 2) -- it'd be a nice tribute for each character and help to differentiate them from each other instead of just being straight repaints of each other. Hey... I can dream...

Early pics we have seen hint at Rumble having piledrivers although I tend to believe that this is a fan-made mode / mistransformation than an intended design of the toy.
