Actually, yes, I’ve figured it out now. It is $246 shipped on the Amazon Au site but from Amazon AU. So there’s basiclly 3 options. Amazon US, Amazon AU shipped by Amazon AU and Amazon AU shipped by Amazon US.

And I just go to cancel it to get it for $246 and they have decided to prepare mine for shipment....Smart move Amazon. Oh well, it’s only $10 cheaper anyway and it does say out of stock so could of been in for a long wait anyway.

I have some questions about these cash back reward websites I've seen mentioned here.
First, how many are there? I've seen mentioned cashrewards and shopback, are there more and what's the difference?
Second, both of those sites say you have to disable adblockers to get your cashback, is this true or have people gotten cash back without disabling adblockers?

Cashrewards and Shopback are the only two I'm aware of and use. I turned off my ad blockers when using them. The only thing to really beware of is that they can take about three months to reimburse you, depending on the store you're claiming from.
When I'm curious about is weather you can stack them. I've never actually tried.

Cannot stack, it only tracks from the last click. Even if you somehow managed to get both websites to track, the store will usually cancel one once they detect the two referrals. Have to watch out to not use gift cards or promo codes as that usually voids any cashback :/

The $246 price is pretty sweet. I used a $10 credit for using the app for a purchase too and am happy with the price I got it for (once it comes into stock again that is)

Considering Siege Omega went up to $299.99 (shipped from Amazon AU) after its official release date, $246 is a great price. As it's a new release item, it should be back in stock with Amazon AU soon.
Siege Galaxy Upgrade Prime is now $69.58.

Has anyone else’s Omega shipped with Fed Ex? Just inquisitive to know as most Amazon stuff comes with Fastway or wether it’s a Perth thing. Fastway takes 2-3 weeks to arrive in Perth. Fed Ex about 3-4 days.

SIEGE Barricade is up again for pre-order / "out of stock status" still.
I checked the american store also, and theirs stock is "in" so you can order there, or presumably they should get some actual stock again for OZ seeing as now the amazon us one is no longer pre-order and not currently sold out etc.
I'd order one now, but frankly I'll wait until at least ONE aussie gets one in hand fromt he oz store from the current lot, I dont want it cancel again, or ship at a stupid time i cant control seeing as got a big order due end of month from HLJ

Hotshot as well (https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07YSSZWQJ/ref=ox_sc_mini_detail?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A4XRJ8S0WXSO0). Both are from 3rd party sellers, but Amazon America appear to be shipping them through Amazon Australia as if they were their own stock.
Both were about AU$48 each when I ordered them tonight... free shipping and no added GST (which would apply if you ordered through Amazon America).
It is sometimes worth browsing the Amazon America listings, to see the occasional items that are made available through Amazon Australia. Sometimes they have insanely huge prices that make no sense (3-4 times the US price), but sometimes they have prices that are a lot less than what it would cost to buy it through Amazon America.

That's less than half the price of getting it from the places in Japan that had it at full retail of about AU$300.
I think I got it for about $180 when it first appeared on Amazon Australia as domestic stock, and I'm happy enough with that price to not be annoyed about it being cheaper later.
It's worse when you pay more than its retail price because it appears to be limited and you don't want to miss out and have to pay more from a secondary source, and then it shows up somewhere local really cheap.
It's like playing the stock market some times, trying to guess what to buy early or hold out on, hoping for it to be cheaper later and not selling out before you buy it.

Looking at the packaging images of the 3-pack, with the Powerdasher packed in parts in different parts of the box, it is very possible that some boxes got the wrong parts, particularly if the arms and legs look very similar, and those poor people in the factories who are paid peanuts for 16+ hours a day work wouldn't be too concerned (particularly if they aren't assembling the Powerdasher to have a better chance of noticing something is wrong).

A good analogy. I ordered most of the POTP after wave 1 was shelfwarming here. Back a few years when the dollar was great, I ended up buying the legends figures that came with targetmaster partners, and we never saw them here at all. Retail is just not reliable enough here.

I'm not preordering Wave 1 of Earthrise yet because Wave 1 always shelfwarms somewhere in the world. It's the later waves that I feel you need to jump on quicker.

I'm gambling that there won't be a cheaper option for Siege Ratchet in the future. I just bought one off ebay last night. It's a gamble though, so I know I might get burned.
With the number of units around I'm gambling there WILL be a cheaper option, as eventually those scalper prices will come down after a few months of not selling out. May take 6-12 months, but no way in $^2$2%@ am I paying a hundred for a deluxe. Happily do without.

The SS-15 Studio Series Bumblebee with car parts and Charlie figurine is now listed on Amazon Australia as imported stock (https://www.amazon.com.au/Transformers-Rebekahs-Bumblebee-Charlie-Exclusive/dp/B07J1PGR46/), for only AU$37 (currently with free shipping if you are a Prime member)... that compares to $60 at Toyworld/Toymate, and about what it cost me to get one directly from Amazon America a few months ago.
That's more like what it should be worth, only being a Deluxe toy with a few plastic accessories and sticker sheet. Since it is a box that's almost twice the size of a Deluxe SS box, it naturally gets double the price by Hasbro as well.

Is Red Wing really that good? I must admit I have wanted him but didn't think from pics I've seen he had that wow factor.
Yeah I'd seen the TFsource listing the other day. As much as I'd like him I just can't justify spending that much when I have so many other draws on my TF Budget (had some Selects figures drop just today at BBTS). Plus if I get him I'll then have to get Skywarp and Thundercracker so that I have all the Siege Seekers :p

I keep Ratchet in my ebay watch list and the prices are slowly dropping dropping every week or so. There are plenty of them out there. Too many and they are NOT selling so it WILL get cheaper (on ebay ebay at least).
EDIT: best price I've seen on Ratchet so far is on the US ebay you can get him for AUD $60. But then there is 10 tax, plus 20 shipping. Putting your total at 5$^$# 80 aud again. However, at least on that us amazon you can combine that order with another item and then you are getting a reasonable deal (better than shipped prices elsewhere).

No... and that is being sold by Amazon Australia (https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07NZ7W14Z), so either Hasbro Australia got them in, or Amazon America shipped excess stock of their exclusives that they were having trouble selling, to other Amazons to sell.
The same appears to have happened with Greenlight (https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07JYKYSPG/) (which I think someone already noted here recently), as that listing is being noted as being sold by Amazon Australia.
Hasbro Australia were pretty definite about Australia not getting any of the 2019 Generations Exclusives here, but things can always change (a retailer could suddenly ask out of the blue that they want an exclusive product to go with an upcoming promotion or sale.... but at the most, we could get one or two unplanned exclusives (like these two), but not too many more).

Yeah I've been watching the Ratchet toy on ebay anbd both amazons ever since it was released every week checking for best prices.
I was LITERALLY about to order it from the usa store (with high shipping and taxes) as it was still the cheapest price anywhere....when I clicked over to the AU version first just to see if they *might* have got it, seeing as it follows the pattern of "reduced priced item that later turns up on AU amazon" and sure enough, it was there.

Sonnova.... I was watching that since it was listed and finally ordered it on the weekend at $35 because it was a loose end that wasn't showing up at retail so figured that amazon might not have much stock either.
I hate paying full Australian retail but I justified this expensive one by allocating about $10 to shipping... making it more palatable.

Had to cancel my gen select Smokescreen order, it was the last in stock one (listed as "unvailable") but now listed as in stock again after I cancelled it (due to a payment issue).
So yeah there is one in stock right now.

Thanks, I did eventually find that.
Not on their site, I tried a whole bunch of google searches and got the chat, dude was helpful looked up the tracking and verified item was not lost and someone had stuffed up (scanned as "delivered") dated two days ago.
Weirdly, it actually arrived TODAY, about 5 hours later. And I got another item from amazon today, but a diff courier -even though it was made in same order. So odd how they do things but so far pleasingly reliable.
If I had not seen that email this morning I never would have even known about the error
EDIT: Someone bought that Smokescreen I mentioned/cancelled earlier. Didn't think it would last long - lol.

I've bought (and received a few weeks ago) two Gen-Selects that had Husbro in the title. If it is through Amazon (the American Amazon listing it through the Australian Amazon site), it should be pretty easy to get a refund if you did't get what is listed.
I recently got the wrong Micromaster pack sent to me, and with a photo and link to the listing, they sent a new one within minutes on the online help chat. Similarly with a Rescue Bots toy - they sent the wrong one, and since it was no longer in stock, it was refunded very quickly.
Just be aware that these 3rd party items that Amazon America are selling through Amazon Australia, will have an Amazon product sticker (with their own barcode) stuck on it somewhere (because they are handling someone else's product). Usually it is covering the barcode of the item, which can tear the packaging if you are wanting to keep it mint (so use a solvent if you want to remove it).

They make it VERY difficult to report these issues (if undelivered yet, it gives a link to a tracking number, but if wrongly delivered it just says delivered and no easy way to report it). I don't know whether its bad UI design, or intentional. But it took me ages to track down the contact us. They sent a replacement right away though and mentioned that there were problems with Fastway as a carrier.

For my two cents, amazon, ebay and paypal and microsoft (and dozens of other companies) HAVE DELIBERATELY made it difficult to have any sort of customer service (in australia) as 99% of anything is outsourced, results on search engines for things will often be dead ends or details for customer service in other countries, and website FAQS will have the most moronic obivous information to "help yourself" but lead you in a never loop of nonsense that really doesn't help anyone and is often more frustrating than useful.
My partner keeps a pen and paper record of numbers for stuff like ebay and paypal as they basically don't want you to call them. And help/customer service is often a joke, or the "appearance" of doing something while often doing nothing at all.
Having said that, I actually had the best experience with amazon au chat help where it took 3 mins for a guy to look up my package tracking and confirm it was not lost. Then 5 mins of me asking "can you please tell me WHERE is it now" while he tried to end the conversation without answering that. I relied on poeple on groups on FB and here to do the homework / make suggestions which I then parroted back to the chat help dude, who after being asked THREE times in a row finally answered the query. But overall Im happy at least someone actualyl did something (unlike couple months back when I asked a paypal chat to help me out with a refund from a scammer.........and instead they locked my account and never refunded me)

Just to keep on topic seems that smokescreen listing is unavailable, no matter ebay saves the day and it's technically cheaper if all by itself

I've had mixed experience with ebay but good ones with paypal, paypal 90% of the time takes up the buyer's side so I've had quite a few chargebacks made despite sellers being dodgy, simply being within 6months helps (of course, when I do sell to odd countries I literally film myself incase they claim I sent nothing like a few horror stories I've seen).
Ebay was mixed, few months back a seller who I once trusted sent me fake tracking, then excuses, before sending me a refund then claiming "pay me back when it comes" before quietly removing the listing all while claiming the tracking worked despite it being 2 weeks old, needless to say after using multiple trackers I got ebay to check and they did so themselves (gave me a new tracker site to use which has been more accurate than some in the process) and even linked me the item article so even though it was gone from my ebay summery I can still leave negative feedback, which was great.
Before that though they gave me the run around when I literally bought an empty box, seller was honest (he realized when I sniped the bid in the last min and thought he'd make sure it was what I wanted since the listing name obscured the lagnth of the name, nice dude), while the refund went nicely BECAUSE of ebay's global shipping program was used that part wasn't being refunded and he had no control, we spoke to ebay and our reps blamed the other party saying he/I were at fault (mine saying he needs to refund and their's saying it should be automatic and I'm a scammer!?!?), spoke to paypal and unlike that whole week of emailing multiple parties paypal took 2 emails in 10mins to solve it (they just refunded me out of ebay's pocket)
I also avoid phone calls, but that's only because I have hearing damage and bad phone reception so yelling "what" all the time is no help plus I'm more articulated in text form

Their search results are screwy on site, quite a few TF toys don't come up in general search for "Transformers" and only if you type the actual name in. Basically I just keep checking the USA store and try searches at least twice a week on the AU one as its real random what turns up there and when (like Spinister we got at retail weeks ago, and now its finally on amazon, instead of the reverse)

I'm finding quite a few Amazon America Transformers toys are now being offered through Amazon Australia (having that little box under the carting info on the right-hand side of the screen), which is free shipping for Prime members of Amazon Australia... BUT check the converted amount first, as sometimes it is converted to be a lot cheaper than ordering it through Amazon America and paying their (cheap) shipping, while sometimes they give a converted amount that is a lot more than what it would cost buying through Amazon America.

gotta look out for that prime logo. i've seen a few amazon us items that don't have the prime logo. If u're on the au site and the seller is amazon US, that can mean one of two things, it's actually from amazon US (the company) or a 3rd party on the amazon US site.

Yeah I've had the same thing. Now I know to look for that icon.
It does tell you in your cart, and on the final page before you pay, some items are free with prime (shipping) at any price, while others are free shipping with minimum spend of $50 (it will say so in the top right corner) and other items are non-amazon items that are shipped at normal rates from third parties as mentioned here above.

just to add to this: Amazon US had these at normal prices, and sold out already over last couple weeks. So any on there now (and thus the AU) are the *secondary inflated prices*. I note more in stock for later feb/march from several amazon merchants which would be at the normal RRP. If you want either of these better off ordering through the american site for now with better prices, but hopefully we will get some properly priced ones (eventually) listed on the AU.
Bit annoyes as neither site had them up for pre-order like they did with the deluxe wave. So I missed them altogether despite checking listings every week for last two months.
If you are a boxed collector, still click over to the us site and read items condition as some of the current ones listed are damaged boxed (which you will NOT see listed in the AU store description)
I learned that the hard with the AU store they will list things as "new" and omit and details that the seller might have added on the US site - for example I got a big hardcover NEW comic trade this week from AU shipped from USA and it had significant damage to it (including the interals) before it even shipped.

Pre-tty much.
Look at Jetfire and Omega. $80 & $180 at one point, Reflector $20, even some of the micros are at $14 now. When they make a million of these things, sometimes it pays to wait

Higher than retail prices on amazon is very often when there is only one or two left. It's like people on ebay listing limited or new toys above retail.

Or if you live where I do, and they don't get Wave 1, or Wave 2, you can never get it.
Amazon consistently has the CHEAPEST price, oftten under Oz retail RRP, or at least the same. The reason I mention this is that (1) it's true (2) this is not the Show Z thread, or the Jim's Big Robots thread or whatever. I buy from here there and anywhere.
I also don't have money to on fuel driving a 50km return trip (and my time) to go to a store where they......might have something. But often don't. Even after other members have verified a stores has something, - it usually sells out long before I can get there.
I have no interest in "excitement" or "early" whatever that means - , most of my online orders arrive after things appear in random stores (nowhere near where I live).
Excuse my impatience, but did you read the TITLE of the thread?
If you have retail store feedback, then perhaps that could go elsehwere?
My post was intended to remind people that there will be more stock coming, and the NORMAL RRP after the FIRST LOT sold out. It's also not "early" - it's in the normal release window that it is supposed to appear in. We get a warped view of things here in oz where it can take 3-8 months to get something in a store that was due much earlier (in OZ retail) if we even get them at all.
In the SIEGE line for example - majority of stores bypassed Wave 1 altogether, and pushed Wave 2 much later than it was intended to be released in, and we missed other figures from that line and the previous one as well. Some of which ONLY ever appeared in only stores and not at any retail.
I'd love to walk up to my local retail and buy things in my local stores - but they don't have them. And they don't get them.
Sorry for wasting anyone's time that read this.
From now on I will purely post a link and name of a thing for sale, on topic, in this thread and otherwise be a robot and not post my opinions about things, especially if this is the kind of reponse it receives. Or I can not post in this thread at all, if people prefer. I'm often up early for work, browse the internet and see something that others might not see till later in the day or after work, when it might have already sold out etc

In that case how do we figure out exactly which seller the item might come from when we buy the item on the AU site but there are multiple sellers listed on the US site?
Will it always be the cheapest one listed on the US site, or the cheapest one that says "FULFILLMENT BY AMAZON", or something else?
And since the AU site fails to mention details such as item condition when it's been provided, does that mean some of the USED items from the US site might get sold as NEW on the AU site?
I know a lot of the Earthrise stock should be supplied by Amazon AU in a couple of months, I'm asking as there are a few older items that I'm interested in getting but are only available as imports from Amazon US.

So, basically if it says "Ships from and sold by Amazon AU" the seller is Amazon themselves but if it says "Ships from and sold by Amazon US" the seller could be anyone selling on Amazon US, is that right?
Yes. The US import stock will only ever say that it is coming from Amazon US as international stock, but won't tell you if it is their stock or a 3rd party selling on their site.
In that case how do we figure out exactly which seller the item might come from when we buy the item on the AU site but there are multiple sellers listed on the US site?
What I do is remove the ".au" in the address bar, and remove everything after the product code - eg: /dp/B07JLY4YH4/
That should give you the US listing, and if it has the box on the right side that asks if you want to buy it through Amazon Australia, open that in a new tab/window and see if it is exactly where you started from.
Using that example above for Siege Jetfire, the US listing is from 3rd party sellers, and the Australian page gives you the option of buying from Australian stock at about $148, or American stock (from the 3rd party sellers) for about $146 (and if you are a Prime member and get free shipping on both options, you then decide which one you want to buy if one is significantly less than the other). These two are only $2 apart, so there isn't a big enough saving to get the American stock, because it will take longer, is more likely to get damaged on the way, and will have an Amazon barcode sticker on it somewhere (they put barcode stickers on 3rd party stock for their warehouse computers to use).
Will it always be the cheapest one listed on the US site, or the cheapest one that says "FULFILLMENT BY AMAZON", or something else?
Unknown. If there are more than one seller on the American page, it could well be from any of them.
And the Australian listing prices are annoyingly random, with similar US$ prices ending up being completely different prices when listed on the Amazon Australia site. But the prices of the Australian listings of American stock can often change, but by looking at both AU and US listings at the same time, you can work out which one will be cheaper for you if the Australian price is over-inflated.
Just note, that if you are buying from the American listing, there is no free shipping unless you are also a paid member of Amazon America Prime. AND, the American Amazon site charges GST later when you checkout, so it isn't included in the listed price.
Like that Jetfire toy - if you bought it from the Amazon America listing for their US$88 price tag, you have to then add GST, and shipping AND convert to AU$.... coming to about AU$185.
But that exact same American Jetfire bought through the Australian listing for AU$146, already includes GST and has free shipping if you are an Australian Prime member.
(or the Australian stock for $148, which also already has included GST and free shipping)
When I shop on Amazon, I go to the American site first, and any items that I want, I look on the right to see if they offer it through the Australian site and open up those pages in new tabs to calculate which is the cheaper option... and if either option is under what I am willing to pay.
And since the AU site fails to mention details such as item condition when it's been provided, does that mean some of the USED items from the US site might get sold as NEW on the AU site?
I don't think they sell "used" items as American import stock, because I think they'd need to state it's condition if it isn't new. At least, if the 3rd party seller has the stock listed as new, it should be new if they want to remain in business on Amazon. I haven't had anything arrive that was opened, but the Amazon barcode stickers they put on their 3rd party stock are really annoying, particularly on the more collectable items.

If there are more than one seller on the American page, it could well be from any of them.Hmm, that's a bugger. One of the items I'm looking at for example is the cheap PotP Inferno mentioned earlier https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B075F5RF67/ that's import only.
There are a lot of different sellers, ranging from CJR Toys (this one appears as the seller on the US site when I remove the .au from the address) to Amazon, from new to damaged to used.
The price of the new ones from CJR and Amazon is almost the same as the price of the used ones from Amazon Warehouse so I'm just trying to get a firm grasp of the situation.
Ordering directly from the US site basically doubles the price because of shipping and GST as you said so yeah I'd be wanting to get it through the AU site (along with some other things for that free shipping).
And since the AU site fails to mention details such as item condition when it's been provided, does that mean some of the USED items from the US site might get sold as NEW on the AU site?I don't think they sell "used" items as American import stock, because I think they'd need to state it's condition if it isn't new. I haven't had anything arrive that was opened, but the Amazon barcode stickers they put on their 3rd party stock are really annoying, particularly on the more collectable items.Well that's something at least and should rule out them sending any of the used Amazon warehouse stock at least, or so one hopes.
I don't even have a problem with used items, so long as they are in good condition, but I do like to know what I'm getting.

Amazon is really good with refunds and returns if you get something that isn't described... like getting a used/opened product instead of a new product. So it might be annoying to have to buy another one, but it could be an element of reassurance if you aren't in a hurry for the item. (and being stock from America, if it didn't cost much, they will usually let you keep it, and just write it off, because it would cost too much for them to pay for it to be sent back - which is like a bit of a bonus for the inconvenience)

I apologize for ticking you off,
I just see so many collectors in the last couple years rushing out to get stuff as it's released in the states, often with the local release being months and months later, though sometimes not. The last series was a very rare occurrence of the first wave hardly seeing any release here, I ended up getting the deluxes I wanted off a seller on eBay for under $30 shipped.
you're post seemed fairly keen, I was just attempting to provide some light tempering. Most often, in my experience most of the main line toys turn up somewhere at a reasonable price, it's certainly not worth spending more than retail trying to get hold of them in the first month or two after their initial release.
Again, I do apologise, I didn't mean for my post to be snarky. Everywhere else online seems to be acidic these days, the last thing I want to do is have that effect on people here.

You'd think so, but they gave me the run around this month.
*First would not refund a damaged item I received.
*Then they said they would refund, but i would have to POST TO THE USA (costing me more in postage than the item itself), and once it arrived in the USA (about a month, by standard post as full cost to me)
*THEN they would process a refund.
*They would not replace the item either.
All of this is BS and totally the opposite of all their mumbo jumbo on on their customer service pags and customer satisfaction oriented whatnot.
*I waited a week and then talked to another rep and got a totally different results.
By accident, the rep told me totally diff stuff, I repeated everything the first one had said, and he contradicted all that and then added in even more confusing nonsensical nonsense.
Then offered me a "partial refund"
what a headache that was!
..... Obviously I am not stupid enough to post something at full cost ( a heavy item likely 30-50 AUD in postage) to america, wait a month for a refund, on a DAMAGED item listed as "new".
I find some customer reps are good there on the chat or phone, and others are utterly clueless. I blame the quality of their training or lack of it, not the actual person, I don't blame them any more than I woudl blame a baby for not knowing how to drive a car for example.
Luckily 90% of stuff I have bought there has been hassle free.
The two times I ordered books (and not toys) they were completely damaged beyond belief. No joke. Ruined. So I buy toys there only (I collect loose, goodbye box, which do get damaged) and don't buy books or any of their other stuff.
Every items I've bought for years from the usa amazon has arrived perfect 100%, well packed, no damage - and all the damaged stuff I've seen on social media is straight out of NSW - the legendary sorting centers that damage so much aussie mail that I flat out refuse to sell/trade/post anything from WA to NSW due to how many times they lost my items.

I mean it too if poeple don't want me in a thread, im gone. No time to waste where I am not wanted and have voluntarily stopped posting in other threads both here and other forums etc when / if it becomes a waste of life.

I avoid the majority of OTCA threads as have found them unfriendly and MORE hostile (surprisingly) than the TFW2005 forums. I would have thought the reverse would be true based on reputation, but then aussies (of which I am one) can be just as nasty and mean spirited as anyone else.

I understand that Amazon has hundreds of thousands of items globally, but it still seems really half-assed to have such terrible item descriptions.

My Starscream's also been cancelled. My bet is actually that we still get Grapple; there was more of him at Toyworld, it lasted longer from Amazon Australia and is currently available for a reasonable price from the US compared to Starscream who seems quite in demand right now.
Still a little worried

Still have my Grapple preorder intact. The progress bar is actually getting closer to shipped status. It's about 60% of the way there. I wish Amazon still had the old UI that gave more information about the order status.

I'm sure that both characters, but especially Starscream will see wider release in a repack assortment. It's probably supply issues, and they know Starscream (alike Bumblebee) is a perennial money-maker. Hasbro won't want to leave money on the table. I wouldn't be gulled into paying ebay reseller prices for him yet.

They do vary. TLK was down to 2 Voyagers per case. But back to your question, if you look at OMP and EE listings for voyagers, theyre cases of 3 & Starscream is in every one :p :
This Transformers Generations Earthrise Voyager Wave 2 Case contains 3 individually packaged action figures:
1x Starscream
2x Snapdragon
The War for Cybertron is on! Big robots prepare for the Earthrise with Transformers Generations War for Cybertron: Earthrise Deluxe toys! Each figure has awesome weapons, intense detailing, and weathered battle-damage paint jobs. Case includes 3 individually packaged action figures:

I had this pointed out to me after I saw 12 Grapples in a store and only 1 Starscream - surely 11 hasn’t sold that quickly I thought!
Seeing how Starscream is going to be in three waves you’d think they could repaint him in blue/grey or black/purple?

The short-packing is most likely due to two things - some retailers are still likely to have Siege Starscream or Thundercracker on the shelf, so don't want more of a similar looking toy (because they are packed in robot mode)... and if we are likely to have one or more Seeker redecos at some point later, there can't be too many of the first version floating around to make it look like they are just getting more of the same toy.
I'm surprised that we haven't heard or seen officially any other Seekers from the new Starscream mould yet. Probably all limited exclusives though. :(
I think that Entertainment Earth listing of wave 2 is wrong though, as wave 2 is supposed to have Quintesson Judge and Snapdragon, and I would imagine the Judge being short-packed (in place of Starscream) as it is one that has two odd looking modes that would only appeal to some of us long time fans (whereas Snapdragon is a jet and dragon, which will appeal to the casual parent or kid buyer).

I saw mention the other day that Snapdragon is the short pack. Maybe Hasbro is expecting a few people like me that want to army build with the Quints.

Not enough people did that with Titans Return Gnaw and Siege Reflector, as they ended up shelf-warming after the fans fought over the first batch, because the general public wouldn't have known or been interested in army building... or prioritising Reflector, who turns into something called a "spaceship" on the packaging.
Assortment ratios are always a guessing gamble for Hasbro, because once they are out in stores, it's almost always too late to manufacture more before that toyline ends... and the product line for the next series is already pretty much locked in due to the long development period for Transformers (about 12-18 months from drawing board to manufacturing).
griffin
10th March 2020, 07:58 PM
I just had a look at Entertainment Earth, and their assortments for wave 2 and 3 don't match the release dates Hasbro released in their New York press-releases.
Wave 1 (https://www.entertainmentearth.com/product/transformers-generations-war-for-cybertron-earthrise-voyager-wave-1-case/hse7121a) - 1 Starscream & 2 Grapples
Wave 2 (https://www.entertainmentearth.com/product/transformers-generations-earthrise-voyager-wave-2-case/hse7121b) - 1 Starscream & 2 Snapdragons
Wave 3 (https://www.entertainmentearth.com/product/transformers-generations-earthrise-voyager-wave-3-case/hse7121c) - 1 Judge & 2 Megatrons
The Earthrise numbers and press-release dates for Snapdragon and Judge should have them both in wave 2... but obviously, things can change at any time, so we might just have to wait and see what shows up in stores in the next 3 months.

On the flip side, get a Grapple etc while you can. Being packed 2 per box for 1 run may be costly down the road. But not really Grapple. He didn't exactly set the world on fire. Buy him anyway so that we can get the 2nd Wave.

Had the same happen to me. Re-ordered Bumblebee since who knows what will show up in store other than wave 1 of anything. Maybe they cancel it again like they've cancelled the last few Transformers I've pre-ordered but I'm not going to too much trouble for another Bee. Even if it's a nicer movie one than the VW.
And I'm reading that other thing as third-party as well, (right now at least, with all the constant changes I feel the need to add that).

Bumblebee2000

They might cancel it, as in all the AU Earthrise figures I ordered got cancelled as well as some DC books and the latter goes back a year
But in the same situation, I waited a few months on some cheap Lego Hidden Side and Ninjago that they took listings down for and did eventually get it. Can't find the date for the other order but the Ninjago was ordered 26/12/19 and came 11/02/2020 but was delisted around the time I ordered it
