Ha ha. That's too funny. I can't believe how much these KOs are going for. From my limited understanding, there are collectors who only collect KOs, the more garish, the better.

I can't get over how fricken gullible some people are. The auction is currently sitting just over US$100 and there is still a day to go.

Wish I could contact these people and let them know it's not that 'interesting and strange' (which TFW would lead everyone to believe). It's available from an online store that is well known for selling KO's - and it retails for approx. US$15!

this KO actually looks pretty decent, from the pictures.

It's a pity that TFW is frontpaging the KO as news, to give it even more support, despite it being a toy that has recently been available (and is a regular candidate for reissues, so can expect to see it again during the next reissue series).
I can understand the interest though, as it would be perfect size for a Masterpiece collection, rounding out the main first year Gen1 Decepticons.

Ah, my favorite piece of packaging in my collection, the Botcon 2007 Games of Deception Box Set box. Comes with everything but the figures (i.e., the comic, pin, certificate, Target gift card, etc.) Great for someone who has acquired the figures separately either loose or in a bagged set. (US$150)
