    Now I'm really curious.

I expect to spend a lot of money on merch when I get there eventually.

It's honestly not a terribly interesting item for most people.

I just happen to like the look of it, and it looks like it's perfect for the type of stuff I enjoy collecting.

I don't know a whole lot about it, bar a single photo from a guy who photographed it for sale at the Universal Store. He didn't note the price, or the details.

This is a smaller version of his photo, it's the only thing I can find for it anywhere.

    I think it's pretty neat.

and that's why i'll be broke walking out of Universal studios... If it's only a few dollars I'll be all over that sort of stuff.

good luck finding someone going in the mean time Cat.

I'm hoping the online store will be able to help me out.

I'll let you know what they say, and how much these will cost if they are willing to ship them here.

It looks quite nice, even from that horrid photo.

It may even be in scale with the SDCC Titan Guardians set, which would be an added bonus.

As it is, I think it still looks like a neat piece to have.

That's new (since last September when I was there). I wonder if it is a posable figurine, or just a plastic "statue".

And I wonder if there are others.
Something I might have to look at getting when I go over there next BotCon.

If you are desperate, you could do like me, and do a day trip to LA.

I've heard back from them already!

One email to let me know they've forwarded this to the Transformers team for investigation, and another to let me know they do have it, and the pricing!

That's wonderful service. Less than 12 hours.

As for articulation, I'm thinking those might be swivel joints at the shoulder, just very limited, and I'm assuming the head swivels.

If not, I don't really care anyway.

    Anyway, they're $14.95 each.

Shipping for two is $30 (I asked about two).

Edit: Just spoke to them on the phone and finalised everything. Absolutely lovely to deal with.

I don't really know what I've bought, but even if it's just a statuette, I'm happy enough to own it. I quite like the look of it, and it's something a bit different.

It'd be great if it was to scale with the SDCC Titan Guardians set, but I think it may be a bit big for that.

Is it just Bumblebee, or are there others?

It'd be weird if it was just Bumblebee... unless they have more characters to come.

I hope it's worth $30, and not end up being some cheap, fragile thing (like a number of their other merchandise items I have).

That's great service Cat, I await hearing your impressions1

    On an entirely differnt note:
I am pretty happy with my Soundwave, he seems to have a slight backwards lean but I can live with that, his eyes are what's bugging me, they aren't smooth, they have a slight circle shape in their surface:

As you can see it makes them look a bit rough. is this a common problem or have I picked a dud?

I think that circle shape is a dob of glue behind the transparent visor. I recall some units from the TT release having the same issue so I'd say you were just unlucky.

I'll have another close look tonight but I'm pretty sure it's on the outer surface.
