Default ROTF Brawn G1 repaint - feedback wanted

(First attempt at posting, forgive me if I've made a hash of it...)

Hi there folks. I'm pretty new here, a fan since the heady days of '85, collecting more seriously for about 4 years. I've started repainting and modding some of my purchases. The first is a ROTF Brawn.

I realise this mold has its critiques - 'shellformers' is the term, I believe. I'm not sure the chicken legs and skinny waist really fit the character either, but his alt mode is pretty nice, and he was all ready to be 'dirtied' up a bit.

The photos were taken on a ridiculously good camera, and one I'm not familiar with, so it has an autofocus that was not easy to control. Hence, the photos are not great.

I'm posting here for feedback. What is good about my repaint? What could I have done better? I'll try and get back with some better photos if there is some interest.

I'm currently working on a G1-style Cosmos from a HFTD scout-class Sunspot and a G1-coloured repaint of a DOTM Sidearm Sideswipe (that gaudy Rally repaint). Photos of these when they're all done.

More plans down the track, which I'll likely ask for more advice about from you guys out there...

    Thanks for looking!

Very nice paintwork. The tyres look great.

I've changed the html in the first post to links.

This board doesn't use html coding, so you need to look for 'BB coding' on your images (on the 'share this' part of the page).
