Hasbro to attend NYCC - with new exclusive items

This was a surprise. I wasn't expecting anything new from Hasbro in terms of TF toys at NYCC, but they've done something that rivals the impressiveness of their SDCC TF-Prime Optimus toy.
Not only is this an advance release of two more Prime toys, but they are redecos this time, which will encourage people to re-buy them in December in their proper show colours.

Packed in a Human Alliance box, we have TF-Prime Bumblebee (as a taxi) with TF-Prime Arcee (in Gen1 pink & white), plus two of the humans Raf & Jack (the ones paird up with those two Autobots in the cartoon), who are also in special decos. It's kind of a pity that they didn't just throw in the third human to complete the set.

Very nice, but unfortunately for those of us outside of America (who can't access anything on the Hasbro online store site), these will require extra effort and money to acquire.

I really, really do not like that Arcee in that pink - It looks horrible IMO.
It is a rather unique exclusive for the NYCC convention though, so the package as a whole works on that level I guess.

Oh pretty! :3 I really only want the Arcee though, taxi bee reminds me too much of the saturation of movie bee repaints.

i agree with hurti the pink arcee looks pretty bad compared to her normal cartoon accurate colours. at first i thought it was a different mold as i remembered the blue version looking better but seeing the pink version close up and in detail makes me see it for the ugly mold it is

the bumblebee looks great as a taxi though as does jack in his NY shirt. raf will never be cool.

That 'New York' song by Alicia Keys rings through my ears. Though I said in a previous thread I was hesistant on getting Prime toys, I would be willing to get this exclusive set because the box design looks amazing. Let's hope scalper prices on scalperbay are fair. *keeps fingers crossed*
