Does that primal have a mech tech weapon??
No problems Yoshi; to my understanding, as I don't own the figure myself, that weapon that Primal is holding is actually the Surf/Hover-board he comes with but one can certainly see the resemblance to that of a Mechtech weapon.

Admittedly I too am a little disappointed with these upcoming releases but as it was explained on the recent WTF@TFW Podcast, but was likely known to many here already, is that all of these figures comprising the latest upcoming United wave have never seen a Japanese release before and as such it is seen as a perfect opportunity for a Japanese Line to deliver figures to a Japanese Audience that have never had an opportunity to own these figures before.

Rodimus deco actually looks really nice, but undecided whether to get another of the same mould i have 1000000 of...

Is warpath the same colour as the Generations one? I cant really tell, and apart from that there is not much difference- but Ill probably get one just to have it.

Windcharger is not changed at all from what I can tell, besides faction symbol- but ill probably just get one and leave it misb.

The rest don't really do much for me, so will probably pass on them.

Darn, looks like the United line lost its 'sparkle' so to speak. If these latest pictures represent the final product it is quite disappointing indeed!

Sad to say Hot Rod/Rodimus is the most impressive of that lot

hmm, bbts jacked up the prices on the beast megs and primal (was $37, now $50) because the initial price solicit from takara was wrong apparently, but the whole wave is 2240 yen each from hlj. Amiami has a price difference though.

I hope that dark purple is the final deco on beast megs, it looks great!

What's strange is that some pics have the text saying "it's the international version, japanese version will be different". This includes the ones that haven't been released overseas (in the specific deco), like Combat Hero Megs.

I am not sure if the Japanese would be impressed. The BW repaints are pretty mediocre molds with their BW original toys being much and I mean MUCH better.

Yeah, it's like they were aiming to replicate the Darkside/Nemesis (by using that mould), but coloured it and named it after the other Beast Wars ship, the Axalon.
