    Default custom classics overload!

    Micromaster Overload, that is.

I had a headless 2-pack Optimus figure and was flipping through the MTMTE guidebook for ideas when I came across this little dude. http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Overload_%28G1%29

A simple repaint with the smoke stacks removed to set him apart from Optimus.

The head is a robot heroes Ultra Magnus! Fits perfectly in the roof cavity.

That is really good! The new head sure changes the personality of the figure.

Agreed, which just highlights how easy it is to create a recognisable character. It all boils down to the head and colours chosen.

    Thanks for the comments everyone

When I first found out robot heroes Magnus' head could fit I thought of painting it up as Ultra Magnus - blue and white - before realising having the armored-up head on the unarmored body would have been just too confusing.

At the time I thought it was a shame I couldn't do anything with them because the robot mode and head sculpts were nice.
