It could also be a feature of the game, to choose the placement of limbs... or when you are fighting him, he swaps around limbs if requiring different weapons (like Brawl's cannon or Vortex's blades).
Those FOC colour schemes for the combaticons look very um...G2...
Which I think is awesome and a very wise move even if it does unfortunately compromise each 'Limb' figure that little bit more.
Basically, for me today upon seeing the Generations news... Blown away!
Shockwave looks absolutely amazing and I am very happy to see that they've been able to make his 'Giant floating Space Cannon!' Alt mode both modern and relevant as the whole idea of a floating handgun just wont work with kids of today IMO.
Prime and Jazz are sort of superfluous to me, they're both good but will indeed come to contemplation but Bruticus will be bought on sight; possibly 2 as my Younger Brother really likes the looks of the individual figures!
The best thing is to come out of today though?; The acknowledgement and admission from Hasbro that they have really missed some opportunities and are looking to rectify that with 40 odd new Generations figures.
What we've seen being only the tip of the ice-berg?, I am certain, certain that we are going to see more Combiners and I have a good feeling that one of whom is going to be Predaking... In Voyager class.
The interview here with Lenny Panzica; that 5FDP has pointed out, I reckon really points to this and the only way we can possibly convince Hasbro to do it is via our Wallets!
So buy FoC: Bruticus and support the Gestalt/Combiner research fund!![]()

Any money says half or more of the 40 new Generations toys are at sizepoints no one really cares about, like Legends or Cyberverse or whatever they're called now
I'm really just here for the free food and open bar.
While I think you may be right on this point, don't underestimate the popularity of the Legends sized toys.
I remember reading not too long ago that that size class is Hasbro's most popular line no matter the series.
We (as collectors) get a bit picky due to the lack of articulation when compared to a deluxe or voyager however for a child, they're perfect for playing with as they take no time at all to transform.
