    Default my first full repaint.

    got bored and Had a KO shadow Commander i didnt need anymore since i snagged the FP authentic from BBTS last year... repaint time!..... i was torn over who i was gonna paint it up as... had a few ideas namely Thunderclash, Toxitron, Shattered Glass or MotorMaster

    well motor master won out(largely due to the fact i had a can of grey spray primer)!

    his "hood" is actually unpainted and just blu-tacked together since i couldnt find any glue in my hobby box and im much too lazy to venture out today.

    i originaly had much less purple on him but i wasnt happy so purpled up his knees and shoulders..... gonna get the reprolabel G1 sheet and hopefully find suitable places for his stickers as well as probablty re-do his face a shade of metalic blue rather than purple.

    Im quite pleased considering this is my first go and ive decided im deffs doing Barracuda next..... Barracuda being my classics verse version of G2 Motormaster(his deliciously suitable name comes from G1 Motormasters italian name)

    I agree with UltraMarginal; that is some fantastic work Mentok and a brilliant re-use of a superseded Knock Off kit, I think the amount of purple you've used is very tasteful and doesn't detract or overdo itself at all - Get some glue and make that hood permanent dude!

    first repaint? nice work dude! very clean. and also a really good choice of base for Motormaster
    it'd be a shame to take away it's transformation by gluing the hood in place.
    can i suggest that instead of that;

    1) drill a small whole and make a peg to keep it there.

    OR

    2) embed 4 small magnets 2 in the hood, 2 on the collar.

    that way, if and when you transform it, you can stash the hood in the trailer behind where the shin-pads fold down.

    just a thought.
    and again - very nice work! i've been doing this for a few years and rarely if ever paint that clean

    Very nice work indeed. Like the color choices. And I agree with Mindsetoverhaul. It would be a shame to hinder its transformation.

    VGM out...

    The madness!
