Well, well well. That looks interesting all right. Still think it's a shame that they haven't improved the modes all that much given the advance in technologuy available today. I still think G1's city mode looks nicer than Gen's city mode.

So I found this figure is retailing for $179 on Amazon. If we get it here and Myer sells it for $190. Certainly better, as I don't think shipping for the toy will be cheap considering how bulky it is.

Stickers are probably just a necessary evil, allowing them to keep the cost of the toy down with minimal paint apps, but still giving people the option of having all the extra "paint" detailing that a toy this big needs to prevent it looking like a big boring white toy.

Couldn't have put it better - Makes me very glad that I preordered the Takara version, discounted to $150 at that! , as the little details they've picked out goes a long way in rectifying Hasbro's 'White Wash' - Cannot wait!

They have him for pre-order for $110 from BBTS, then $65 for shipping.

I'm assuming if you have a big enough POL that price will drop a fair bit. If the rest of mine come in I'm gonna have a whopper!

Edit: Ah, I see orionpax1 has already said the same thing

I just hate the stickers coming off, I'd be happier if they came with a backup sheet.

If you aren't likely to ever need to remove them, superglue them on (with a glue that won't melt the plastic). It might sound extreme, but it works, and if done neatly, no one would ever know... especially the buyer if you ever sell, who will pay extra to have all stickers still attached.

Have you done this before? It sounds easy but no one wants to stuff up stickers on a $150 purchase. Which glue does not melt stickers and is easy to work with? Is there a trick to doing it neatly? Have any glues discoloured the stickers over the years?
