Put words in your mouth? I'm looking for the part in my post where I said something along the lines of:

"VGM does not like the thickness of the alt mode and therefore, VGM will not buy the figure as a result."

Nope. Can't find anything like that anywhere. I do, however, see the words "if" and "then don't buy" quite prominently in my post - clearly a "suggestive" statement.

Chill people, and just enjoy the new toy(s).

Making an observation, based on personal preference doesn't mean they don't like it or wont' buy it... they just prefer that it would have been done differently if it were possible. (which it often isn't possible... but doesn't mean they can't comment on the good AND bad)
Just don't obsess too much about the bad (that can't be changed)... or else you'll have obsessed fanboys on your case.

Remember - the first pics of MP Magnus made him look really top heavy and kinda fat. By the time we got the finished product he was very well proportioned. Hopefully the same will happen here, with Tracks bulking out a little before the final product is ready

As for the "he's too thin" comments. To me, the photo looks like Tracks is on an angle, so we see his side and his head is turned to face the camera. Even his waist looks twisted backwards... So, that could be what makes him look thin to some. I think he looks fine, but it's just a Teaser pic anyway. A front-on view might look different.

Just to clarify this is where there might be some confusion do you mean thicker or wider or bigger overall in alt mode?
You might find to that the corvette isn't as big as a lot of people perceive them as they are actually not that big of a car in real life

It's not the fact that people are arguing what they like or don't like about the figure. People do that all the time. I even just did it myself.

It's the "I'm gonna argue my point until someone agrees with me" part that gets to me?

    Anyway, I'm done.

No you obviously dont have to agree with any of the stuff that comes out of my mouth.
But acknowledgment would be nice then completely ignoing me.

    and by thicker I meant a little bit..tiny even..wider.

dont get me wrong. I love the fact that they are making him. I will be buying it as he does look great!
It just the 1980s Corvette is my all time favorite car. So yes I will nit pick it if they dont get it perfect.
Sorry if that insults or is offensive to anyone. This is supposed to be a MP after all.
now I wonder of it will have the proper emblems on him.

    peace!

Hehe, man this MP Tracks looks awesome! - I can't wait to see some pics of him taken with the other MP Autobot Cars for comparative reasons.

His deco is going to look superb too as I've always been a fan of his predominately Blue, Red & Yellow colour scheme, topped off by some White highlights and I definitely agree that he needs to come with Raoul & a G1/Diaclone toy-accurate faceplate too (Maybe even some glasses!).

I'm curious to see how his shoulder assembly works, as his backpack area looks somewhat gappy also, but as for his overall slimmer dimensions; I think it is way more in-tune with the character than what it seems to be given credit for, the angle & photo of this magazine page isn't helping things but I feel the present proportions look very much like a toned super-model - He's the Rick Martel of the Autobots.

Now, give us some photos of Flying-Car Mode and all will be well in the world!
