This is what we want to see dude, you on the mend - Glad to hear things are on the way up.

Hursticon, thanks for your concern, I appreciate that but they are just stomach pills for a bad tummy nothing critical like Epilim or some other drug which has serious side effects if you stop taking them. My stomach has actually begun to improve and as of today I didn't have any problems.

BTW, I did some research on those pills and it is plagued with side effects, several of them actually consistent to what I experienced with them. The doctor never mentioned any side effects at all
That's fair enough dude if they're just stomach pills, but I'm of the opinion that any foreign introduced chemical should be understood as best as one can and a degree of caution should also be employed.
I myself try to avoid taking simple cough and flu medicine to the best of my ability, I like to exercise my immune system as best I can before I have to resort to modern medicine.

I find that really crap that your Doctor didn't divulge to you the possible side effects of the medication, I'd bring it up with him dude and maybe even consider a new Doctor.

Came off it three weeks though and my mood has sky rocketed, I feel much more positive and don't fall into the blues any more. Also helps that the nausea and stomach pain are not too bad either!

Let us know how you go Kup, all the best.
Ah, interesting - My Mother is prescribed Endep for pain relief of the condition she now has due to a work related injury at Woolworths, Dark Disk Syndrome - which essentially means that one of the disks between her vertebrae in her lower spine is quite literally missing.
She too finds that it causes her mood to plummet, often causing her to not want to speak to anyone and then by contrast when she comes off of it she is an absolute nutcase.

I was bidding on a game on ebay. $55 and with 2 min left on the clock I was winning bidder. I go look at another page and come back 3 min later and my max bid ($75) was out bid. No one seemed interested in the auction in the week leading up to it. Man, I haven't won anything on ebay for ages now.

In other news, I have some nice big bruises as I took a tumble at work, slipping on a wet floor. Into ....

    a bin, of all things

Hurt like hell at the time, whacked my ribs and neck on the rim of the bin as my arm went inside it. Luckily it was plastic and empty at the time, but man it made me swear.

So I get home and the wife is all like "Why'd you slip over? Silly man!"

Someone remind me why I got married please?

Fiddling around with RtS Wreck-Gar last night and his handlebars snapped off. After spending 8 hours playing supervisor at the kids interschool hockey tournament, missing uni then going to work for another 7 hours this was the last thing I needed.
Now I have to try to hunt down another one, just when they've all disappeared from stores.

I don't mean to be an a******* dude, but that made me laugh a bit as you don't often hear about something like that happening and the mental picture didn't help either.
Sorry to hear you were hurt though, as for the missus? - personification of the phrase: "Adding insult to injury".

Oh man, that sucks dude - I'm sorry to hear and of all times for it to occur too when "The Land Of The Shelf-Warmers" is either doing nothing with their current stock or is currently removing all of it for a new wave of shelf-warmers.

Put the word out in the Bumblebee - Toy Scout sub-forum dude, I'm sure someone will be able to help.

Compared to KillingSpoon's problems at the moment this is probably pretty ridiculous but...

After re-arranging all of my collection over the past day and some, I've found my Beast Wars figures to literally be encrusted and caked in dust as they've pretty much remained untouched on their shelf for about 5 to 6 years and I feel, silly-ly?, sad for them and disappointed in myself for letting some of my favourite possessions get to such a state.

Has anyone else had a similar experience or am I alone in my stupor?

    Got home not long ago.

The most dreaded thing happened.... my 4 year old niece has been in my room and a few of my tfs were played with and thrashed... I think my mum who was babysitting must have been occupied with something else..

Now my united wreckgar/hasbro wreckgar has been tampered with, henkei bumblebee, henkei wheelie. Lucky my Fansproject stuff was not touched.

Now, i love my niece alot... and I have never had to put my foot down regarding my tfs (she knows not to touch)...what pisses me off the most is the time has passed... got to wait till the next time when I see her to put a word in...but by then, would've forgotten it already.

So far, nothing I can tell is damaged... just the mere violation of my collection!!!

Yeh, no worries, it makes me laugh looking back at it, but then I have to stop, as my ribs start hurting. Nothing broken though, so all is good.

At work, trying to have lunch and thought I would watch some youtube to while away the 20 odd min I managed to fit in. Well thanks to works internet connection, I have managed to watch ZIP! I feel like I am trying to use youtube on dialup again!

When I go back once a year or so to my parents place in Victoria, there I find my old G1 stuff still on the shelf, collecting more and more dust and some getting pretty sun-damaged. now when I go home I manage to find time to clean a couple and put them out of the way of the dust and sun.
I clean with a soft brush and a hand vacuum nearby to pick up all the dust.
