This is what we want to see dude, you on the mend - Glad to hear things are on the way up.
That's fair enough dude if they're just stomach pills, but I'm of the opinion that any foreign introduced chemical should be understood as best as one can and a degree of caution should also be employed.Hursticon, thanks for your concern, I appreciate that but they are just stomach pills for a bad tummy nothing critical like Epilim or some other drug which has serious side effects if you stop taking them. My stomach has actually begun to improve and as of today I didn't have any problems.
BTW, I did some research on those pills and it is plagued with side effects, several of them actually consistent to what I experienced with them. The doctor never mentioned any side effects at all![]()
I myself try to avoid taking simple cough and flu medicine to the best of my ability, I like to exercise my immune system as best I can before I have to resort to modern medicine.
I find that really crap that your Doctor didn't divulge to you the possible side effects of the medication, I'd bring it up with him dude and maybe even consider a new Doctor.
Ah, interesting - My Mother is prescribed Endep for pain relief of the condition she now has due to a work related injury at Woolworths, Dark Disk Syndrome - which essentially means that one of the disks between her vertebrae in her lower spine is quite literally missing.
She too finds that it causes her mood to plummet, often causing her to not want to speak to anyone and then by contrast when she comes off of it she is an absolute nutcase.![]()
