Venting about this one,
I work part time because of studying as I have a hectic study schedule. So I work for Big W online, does any one realsie what abuse we cop from people over the phone? Seriously all those who complained about big w screwing up their christmas orders are wrong! This is what happened.

I have to agree with this. I wouldn't say that it's so much about ethnicity and more about the social circles that these people are from.

I believe that the source of the problem has nothing to do with ethnicity, race or religion but rather the 'type' of people that is being allowed into the country.

People who lack manners and social respect.

I completely agree as really, whether one is Middle Eastern, African, South American, Asian, North American or European - The teenage social issues in this country is purely down to specific people of authority in their lives removing the concept of responsibility for their actions, as those specific people themselves are having their hands tied by the ridiculous dictations of lobby groups and gutless law makers; leading to a completely non-developed understanding or sense of respect for anyone apart from themselves or their immediate group by these kids.

One's descent doesn't matter, if you're not correctly informed consistently from a young age with the correct set of values and manners then this sort of anti-social behaviour will only flourish - You don't have to go far for evidence of this at all.

People who go 20 in a school zone when school isn't even back need to be removed from the road @________________@

You should take down those number plates dude as, at least in the state of NSW, that sort of reduced speed is a chargeable offence being deemed hazardous or negligent driving because they could just as easily cause an accident as someone speeding.

You can't blame him though, as he's said; these sorts of topics have a very quick tendency of spiralling and it's very hard to climb out of the maelstrom.
Hence why I mention Anubis as my own beliefs on a certain topic would be guaranteed to offend a sizeable number of other members, who I know to hold differing beliefs, but I've no intention of offending them as they've been nothing but great towards me.

How that bloke still has a career is beyond me; friends in powerful places and pandering to the close minded seems to work well for him but it really does reflect more poorly on the public who tune in to his diatribe, that being said though, I don't believe Jazzy is convoluting like the aforementioned drip as I too have heard a couple of similar stories from both a bank teller and a pair of Emergency Service personnel.

As a security issue I completely agree, religious customs should not be given precedence over rational law; besides, the open faced hedjab is far and away the better option as it is conforming in a security sense, better functioning (I'd imagine) and a billion times more socially acceptable on a mass level.

I know this is completely against the reasoning for the covering in the first place , but I think that the open faced Hedjab serves as an excellent facial frame due to it drawing one's eyes immediately to their face; coupled with that way some Middle Eastern women wear their eye liner, they can be quite complimentary really.

So true but I guess here we are facing a problem no one knows really how to solve it. Too many elements are involved in drawing up an immigration policy and sometimes it seems like whatever it is it's not right. For example on one hand you have people campaigning for the government to allow refugees into the country -- out of humanity obviously, which is one of the many virtues Australia has and most other countries in this world are lack of; but on the other hand allowing in refugees will cause what kind of social problems we don't know, by doing that what cost will the society as a whole end up paying, are we really achieving greater equality or on the contrary, simply making the society even more unfair but under a glorious excuse.

One of those things that always seem like there's no good solution, and that we'll probably only get to see the right answer after making innumerous mistakes.

Beautifully put Arcee ; I agree, Immigration would easily be one of the single most daunting and impossible portfolios for any politician in any country to tackle but especially our own when we are trying to juggle the most culturally and nationality diverse country's on the planet.
