I've been robbed before, so sadly I know how you feel. Scumbags go about stealing other people's crap instead of getting a job and using their own money.

...and that's often the worst part of being robbed. Things of sentimental value can never be replaced. Earlier this week a woman in Sydney had her bag stolen that contained an urn filled with her late mother's ashes. Police fear that the thieves have most likely chucked the ashes away.

A 39 year old woman has been arrested at Wollstonecraft. Sadly, no sign of the bag or ashes.

My partner had a bit of a "worry moment" at Domain this morning. the ATM just around from the post office has a camera built into it, that looks towards the pinpad.

after contacting the police about the possibility of the ATM being compromised, the investigating officers documented the device, and made enquiries to the bank about it.

...apparently a camera that looks at the pinpad is going to be "standard" on all ATMs soon

    Got this from HLJ

    Hello, Brett-
Thank you for your new order, preordering 10 apiece of two popular upcoming items.
We note that you have cancelled more than 500,000 yen in merchandise this year.
While we allow cancellations, we unfortunately are not able to continue to serve customers who abuse this policy. As we explain in the Terms & Conditions, to which you agree in ordering with us:
"While we accept customers' cancellations of all or part of their order at any time prior to payment processing (this can be done in My Account), we ask that you keep cancellations to a minimum by avoiding heat-of-the-moment orders and making sure that you really want something before you click the Add to Cart button. Overstocks due to customer cancellations affect our ability to offer great prices, so this is in everybody's interest! We reserve the right to limit or close the accounts of customers who abuse the cancellation policy, or abandon shippable orders without submitting payment."
You have many other items on order with us, but also a high rate of cancellation that we're afraid has become abusive.
For us to be able to continue to serve you, we must ask that you please do not order an item unless you intend to complete the purchase.
We appreciate your understanding, and your business with us.
