I need to vent!

So annoyed right now. Covered a couple of shifts this week for a workmate, including today, which meant I missed the Parra fair. All good right? I help them, they help me?
Wrong. Was sick as a dog Friday and needed Saturday off but when I asked said workmate to cover for me they couldn't do it! Last time I put myself out for someone else.

Yeah you would think workplaces would place a higher value on loyalty. And people wonder why people don't stay in the one job these days....

jury duty begins...sigh
