Yes, was hoping this would happen! Enough people have cancelled their HLJ pre-order of Terrorcon Cliffjumper so I've been able to add one to my pile of loot type thing. Booyah!

Went for a walk with the family today -- dropped my mobile phone somewhere! Looked all over the house and retraced my steps - nothing. When I came back looking defeated, my wife told me that someone had called up -- a good Samaritan had found my phone! Good to see that there are still some good people about.

I just had my second motorbike lesson today, after the previous lesson dropping the bike and busting my instructor's bike's mirror and having to pay for it. Wobbling around the carpark and resuming today wobbling around the carpark... doubting my abilities and his instruction. I've still gotta work on nice smooth takeoffs.

So after a slow start in the carpark stalling and taking some dodgy corners (again doubting myself) we got to shifting up and down gears (again) managing to do it well enough. We hit the road.

The next whatever it was in terms of minutes was just pure fun. Everything came together as we shifted up and down, took corners all on the back streets. Gunning the bike to 60kmh as directed, riding the clutch on corners etc on the back streets was sooo much fun. There was quite a few dodgy gear changes but that doesn't matter. I mean... I had FUN damnit and finished the lesson with a Cheshire Cat grin.

That was just what I needed as a confidence boost and a little bit of positive energy to keep me going.

I also loved when we passed another bloke on a motorbike and my instructor told me to nod when you see another rider. Shame the bloke didn't nod back. I wasn't expected to be told about "the nod"

Pretty damn happy right now and CAN'T wait to get my own bike/ licence. Oh the fun I'll have.

Congrats dude, I hope it's a continuing trend.

@Goki: That is a rare occurrence indeed, bloody lucky mate.

Nice going Aqua Prime. Riding on the road is a lot better than wobbling around a car park.

earning something new and enjoying it is always so satisfying, nice on Aqua Prime, now all you have to do is stay in one piece.

    That's a rare event Gok.

I'm really chuffed about winning a prize pack from Hasbro! Even though there's only one toy there that I really wanted (Air Raid), I'm more than happy to receive a lot of other stuff, some of which will be regifted to friends' kids... others I'll absorb into my collection

In my 28 years of collecting I've entered my fair share of officially sanctioned competitions and this has only been the third time that I've won and only the second as a random draw prize (the other time was for an art contest). So it's a very rare event and I'm super-duper happy!

    Much thanks to Hasbro Australia
