There's nothing really like PSO on 3DS. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is vaguely similar... and will have online play when it releases early next year (sooner for Japan)... but they'll probably lock out playing with Japanese players! So the answer is, get a Vita and PSO2 if you haven't already
