the action pose is the 5 foot vertical jump I made accompanied by a girly squeal when I found this guy hiding between our deck chair cushions. so while it could be said that this guy is about to viciously pounce, he really was the cause of an action pose that there's no photo of. And I couldn't' think of anywhere else to post these pics.

His camouflage is so good my phone had a really hard time focusing on him.

I left him there for the moment, cool, harmless little critter. A Leaf gecko I think it's called.
