Without a doubt, this is my most satisfying Transformers haul ever. Here we've got a MIB Takara Sixshot in beautiful condition, pretty much brand new. I have to say, this guy is easily one of the most amazing G1 Transformers I've had the pleasure of owning. Fun doesn't even do him justice, he's just an absolute marvel of design and engineering.

Next up is my holy grail of all holy grails, MIB G1 Turbomaster Thunder Clash.
I've been slowly collecting the Turbomasters over the last few years and purposely saved Thunder Clash for the last for one very good reason...He absolutely kills the other Turbomasters in every single way. His colours are more wild and vibrant, his gimmicks are equally over the top and entertaining and come on, just look at that box.

Last but certainly not least is Takara Books Re-Issue Sound Blaster. If there's one toy I'd love to own the original of, it's gotta be this guy. His original Takara packaging is simply awesome and has some of the coolest box art going. Shame then that the original goes for ridiculous sums of money well above what I'm willing to pay. And that's where I'm left today, missing the original boxart but with the same outstanding toy that imo takes the coolness of Soundwave to the next level. In the second pic you can see the extra detailing on Sound Blasters tape deck, as well as the mini 'Fortress Maximus' logo on the accompanying Ravage (Buzzsaw has this marking too). One thing if you do manage to track down one of these (and I highly recommend you do!), the sticker placement guide is allsorts of dodgey. And I dunno if the original said to do this but it reckons you put those black and red stickers I've put on the front of the tape player at the back of the guns...Snow way bro, I'm putting them at the front where they belong!

Not in the 'dealerverse old son. To me they represent an equalizer as (in my mind) they do for the original soundwave. Whoever did the art for the Takara books re-issue seems to agree with me.

    Wow Doubledealer!
That is an incredible haul man, Sixshot intrigues me a lot and his 'real-life' size is also quite a surprise when you see him for the first time.
Thunderclash is definitely cool, but that Sound Blaster is way cooler!

Congrats on another awesome set of acquisitions dude!

Thanks mate, twas a good way to end the week. And I know what you mean about Sixshot, he's certainly a curious one! I was a bit worried when I picked him up from the post office as the box was ridiculously light, so much so that I thought I had been sent the box and that was it. Once you get him out-of-box though, he's (as you suggest) surprisingly huge and very solid. You definitely get your moneys worth!

Glad you appreciate the glory that is Sound Blaster, he's definitely an intimidating sight when displayed amongst his comparatively friendly looking Decepticon comrades. If anyone hasn't seen the boxart for the original Takara realease here it is, although I warn you, a bib is required
