A question to the PS3 owners: is Uncharted 2 the console's killer app?

I keep seeing fantastic reviews for it, and from what I've seen and read I really want to play it (and Uncharted). Most other games I want to play are cross-console so don't help.

I also want to play MGS4 but the reviews are less glowing for that game.

Uncharted 2 is absolutely the killer app. Nothing else out there comes anywhere near close to what it achieves.

I concur, Uncharted 2 is a MUST get for anyone with a PS3. It's highly recommended to play Uncharted 1 though, it only enhances the experience. Unless you solely want MP.

iv had ps1 and ps2, but when i decided to step into the current gen, i looked at who had the better exclusives and xbox360 won out for me. pure and simple.
im a gears fan mostly because of it. its my fav game ever.

although i do wish uncharted was on xbox360, or better still, there were no such thing as exclusives, if that were the case i probably end up with a ps3 for the blue ray.

Reminds me of the days of the Commodore 64 (and to a lesser extent the early days of Megadrive). Games would come on on all formats catering to their various power levels....
