    That is awesome lcz128

In my humble opinion, I say don't paint the eyes... not red anyway; all Autobots have blue eyes (speaking from a strictly G1 POV)

aye - and in the cartoon he had red eyes too - and the toy! if anything only the main picture on the tfwiki page says otherwise... but like I said - I haven't done it cause of the light piping...

Can you remove the light piping from the head? It is possible on several other figures.

I have an idea on changing the eye color of the light pipe without having to paint or permanently change anything but I need to know if that is possible.

Nope. Not without splitting the head completely, from the GLUE that holds it together. So unfortunarely no easy way to get to it. What was your idea? (my guess is you don't own the toy?)

I don't own the toy, that is why I asked if it was possible.

The idea only would have worked only if it was possible to dissemble the head and remove the light pipe.

The idea was basically to stick a cut of red clear 'wrap' sheet on the visor and place it back into the head. That would have given the illusion of red eyes and retained the lightpipe. It is possible to do that with almost any toy that allows access to the light pipe.
