I would hope so, otherwise he has a lot of joints for nothing, given the arm mode is more or less just the vehicle mode with the treads folded into his lower arm. If you look at where the guy is holding him, you can see what looks like "Scavenger's" shoulder, mid-bicep rotation and elbow joints.

EDIT: Looks like it uses the same socket and plug system from the Energon/Universe combiner teams.

It would probably be too big to be an upgrade for the Energon combiner. I am interested to see the overall finished product. I had a view of the socket and it is similar but it appears to have a 'locking' mechanism which is good since Energon limbs can be very unstable.

Pretty cool, can't wait to see the rest. Don't want to know the price though

Assuming it's a Deluxe class, and judging by past trends, I think this will cost $50-70USD, assuming a similar production run to something like Fansprojects Bruticus crossfire sets which are Scouts with a load of parts.

What is this? Is it an upgrade or is it a brand new fanmade combiner team? If so, me wantee.

All-new fan made Constructicons, it seems.

    Ooh!

Now, that is certainly interesting isn't it?

I can see some Classics/Universe/Generations shelves needing some adjustment amongst the fandom...

The arm alone looks to be the same size as an Energon combiner. I guess this Devastator would most certainly be large enough to look good with Classics but would not look out of place standing next to MP Prime either.
