MK certainly looks awesome but you better hope you've got a region free console to play it on... i can't see it getting through OFLC ratings process unscathed!

I got a PS3. As far as I know, they can play games from any region. Never tested this myself so I hope it's true... especially if it's going to be modified for an Oz release.

Yes all PS3 games are region free, I doubt it'll get banned here, MK is way too over the top to get banned.

I dunno about that the Classification board here can be pretty random sometimes....

Although the blood should be fine by now surely, I am concerned the violent aspect of the cool x-ray attacks might be forcing it into the 'too violent' territory of our over protective ratings system.

Thanks for the heads up Bobby, I was looking forward to getting this game, seeing how much fun I had playing the PS2 versions, and the Wii version was enjoyable with a gamecube controller.

The one thing all sporting games (even curling) need is a franchise mode, a single season mode just is not long enough to get a great team together (unless you cheat).

Shame the "new" features dont make up for all the failings.

I forgot to mention it doesn't feature one of the better ideas from RL3. Changing your attack and defence stratergies on the fly. I thought that was really good in RL3. Another dissapointment about this new game

PS3 games are region free. The DLC isn't. I know this from experience

Shadows and crap emo song. Sucked. Such a pity and waste of a trailer.

Game should *hopefully* still be as good as the first gory early videos are though. Please code it faster before the P.C. thugs get wind of it and censor it so much it makes hello kitty looks like a serial killer in comparison.

I was just about to post a link to the new Mortal Kombat Shadow Trailer when I noticed that it was already being discussed.

I thought the trailer was quite classy really and the song choice was quite fitting, though Disturbed's new album hasn't grabbed me by the balls like Indestructible did, in what the MK Universe is.

I myself am looking forward to it immensely but I'll have to go get a PS3 first in order to play it.

On a side note, has anyone heard of, or played Minecraft?
I've just bought the game but have spent nearly 20hrs building stuff on the 'Creative Minds' server, I really like the game as it is a great Independent title that will get you hooked pretty darn quickly.

Finally got a new laptop and am going through that phase where I'm installing all the games I used to have to play on medium and low settings and running them on all high.

My Brother and I have this theory that what Gearbox are gonna do is basically cleanup and polish what was left by 3D Realms (Which, apparently, is a complete F@$#% game??? ) and do what 3D Realms couldn't do over a 10 year period - Actually Friggin' Release The Game!!!

Oh how I cannot wait to "Make those Alien Bastards pay for Shootin' up Duke's Ride!!!" again.
