Ebay is the place to be

Was it bought loose from one of those Chinese sellers? How's the quality? I've been dubious of buying one of those since I'm afraid that they're one of the factory seconds.

Anyways, waltzed into Kmart tonight to pick up some (more) Xmas wrapping paper and couldn't resist succumbing to the lure of an $8 RTS Windcharger... so in the basket he went.

Everyone's seen what he looks like, but seeing as it's "pics or it didn't happen", here you go (pictured with 2 of the 3 Legends Starscreams I picked up the other day):

Got myself a frame for one of my UK Marvel comic posters. Nothing beats classic artwork

Interesting that with the exception of Wheeljack, all the other characters' art are straight out of their Marvel Design Sheets (ie: Transformers Universe profiles).

I remember thinking that when I had the poster up as a kid. The reason is because the design sheets for the five 1984 characters have their chests facing to the left, whereas Inferno's faces to the right. Aesthetically, they needed another one to the right to make the poster balance. (Although Wheeljack's Universe pose would probably have looked all right [just not great], since his head and one foot are pointed to the right in that.)

Ah, the master comes up with a good explanation once more! Wheeljack's design sheet model has always been a strange one to me. It actually very closely resembles and exaggerates his box art posture. It also appears that this posture has rubbed off on the animators because we often see wheeljack in that strange legs opened posture in the cartoon as well.

Let me know what you think of Thunderwing. I'm not sure a fan. I think Has/Tak has wasted a great opportunity here. Nowhere near the greatness of Bludgeon (ROTF) unfortunately.
