I chuck out the blisters and keep the cards. Cards don't take up too much space since they store flat. Also, keeping the blister wouldn't do much for resale value anyway since you've cut it open and it can't be repackaged. Some Takara/TOMY blisters might be worth keeping since they can be repackaged - but again, only if you want to resell the toy in future or if you want to display the loose toy on card. Otherwise I say chuck 'em.
Keep the cards, remove the blisters. That's what I have had to do. Haven't done the rest yet though.
Yeah, what everyone else has said - throw away the blister and keep the cardback. That's what I do for the ones I open.

Cheers for the suggestions guys, it's much appreciated because as you can see:
There's quite a few there (2 wide by 2 deep), plus non-TFs, and I haven't even added my 3 acquisitions from yesterday to that lot.![]()

I went on a spree about a year ago or just earlier - I was keeping blister on card on everything. Then I decided to remove the blister and keep the card, instructions and the name tag thing on American items. A lot easier to store.
Can't do the same for Japanese items though.
Yeah, turf the unremarkable plastic prison. Backing Cards make nice display pieces on their own.
However, take the Rocky Bubble plastic that came on the 1st run Beast Wars figures for example. I bought some figures that came with packaging and some came with the rocky bubble blister, and I've kept it.
Why? Well because of the novelty and because it was a major shift in packaging after that 1st line.
So if the blister is in some way special or meaningful to you, keep it. If not, well, you know what to do.

Yeah, with the newer toys just keep the backing cards I reckon. Unless it's anything TFA of course, in which case, don't chuck annnnnythiiiiiiing!
That's what I do too. With the newer toys, I just cannot be bothered to keep the blister although I must say that if sliced properly with a pen-knife (ie: 2 sides and bottom, but the top of the blister still attached), even US toys can be 'repackaged' and look MOC.
