I know I'm a little behind... but that head sculpt is amazing, so much care and effort with such a small amount of plastic!

Looking For: Wreckers Saga TPB Collection (with Requiem)
Thanks mangsculpting with putty really is one of those things that you can spend a ridiculous amount of time on. In order to get the side air vents nice and smooth/angled I sanded them using 600 grit paper, primed them then very lightly sanded with 1000 grit paper (did those last steps X3 before it looked the business).
One thing I find strange is the Tamiya 1000 grit paper has a lot more cutting power than the 1000 grit paper I bought from Bunnings (they look totally different too). You certainly have to be very careful when using the Tamiya stuff, don't use it when tired is my advice!
A few progress shots for today guys...

Thanks Hursti.I lost count of how many times I had to touch up the head due to getting black paint where it wasn't wanted. Glad to finally say it's done and I can leave that part alone.
I just put a second (the last) coat of gloss clear coat on the painted parts bar the head, so I'll be applying some nice black wash on the grey parts this Wednesday once it's fully cured. Stay tuned for more updates later in the week my friends!
