I dnt like it as much as I thought I would. Not Purple enough for my liking. I think the colours are based on Atomic Lugnut over normal Luggy.

Mine too has dodgy shoulder bits. Feet are ok.

I like the play options with this guy, you can open his feet claws up on vehicle mode and he can swwop down and grab any unsuspecting Autobots. I definitely prefer the animated over this one, but this one is ok.

Buy if cheap (and you want it)

    RTS Lugnut...
Based on the Transformers Animated cartoon character of the same name, I must say that I was not interested in this figure at all because of that fact, rather, this Transforming Robot Toy is just pure Divinity!

RTS Lugnut's Bio says it all:
Lugnut isn't the most brilliant tactical mind Cybertron has ever seen. In a faction full of brilliant scientists, cunning schemers and devious warlords, Lugnut's processing capacity doesn't rank anywhere near the top. Rather, Lugnut possesses a quality that's exceedingly rare in Decepticons: loyalty. Unswerving, unthinking, blind loyalty to the glorious Megatron and the Decepticon leader's vision for Cybertron. Couple this with an armament that makes the charging behemoth an unstoppable force on the battlefield, and it isn't hard to see why Megatron finds no fault with Lugnut's brutish methodology. In particular, the explosive point-singularity generators in Lugnut's immense fists put fear into many an Autobot.

    - sourced from: TFwiki.net
I love the idea of this character being Retconned into the G1 Universe but at any rate, his personality, abilities and unwavering devotion to Megatron and the Decepticon cause is really quite cool.

Lugnut's Colour scheme of Military Grey/Green and Purple with Red and/or Gold highlights is quite intriguing as these are coupled with White text as well as Yellow and Black hazard markings around his Twin Jet Turbine Intakes.

For me, a well designed and executed Aircraft Transforming Robot toy is absolutely to die for as I love Aircraft and Lugnut is a stunningly well imagined mixture of WWII Bombers with modern aircraft design aesthetics.
Proportionally Lugnut is almost perfect in this mode and is also of benefit to truly wise engineering as only his Bot mode fingers are discerningly visible in this mode and that is amazing!
His wing span and breadth are great, with twin jet turbines that look burly without being over sized but this area is complimented by a clearly modern down-swept Tail Plane design.
Both the wings and rudder are completed with tampographed White identification markings which read: LU-6 NU-7 i.e. LU-G NU-T.
Finally his Alt mode's fuselage is what I am very pleased with because not only does it have a tampographed toothy grin on either side under the main cockpit, but it manages to house the Glory that is Lugnut's torso and legs, whilst remaining utterly plausible in proportion to his wings and tail plane and could honestly serve as a possible basis for a real-life Aircraft!

His Transformation is quite involving but truly ingeniously designed, engineered and executed.
His legs fold up underneath him to form half of his fuselage and contain his landing gear with his torso forming the other half, his head lies behind the 2 halves that form his Forward Gunner's Cockpit and his arms are formed... By His Wings!?!

Lugnut's Bot mode is awesome because it manages to do 3 things:

    1. Contain articulated legs comprising of a tilting ankle joint, hinged knee joint, ball joint mounted thighs and a hip swivel.
Along with a nearly full rotational head with working lower jaw and a rear mounted, over the shoulder missile launcher - But!...
His arms are the construction masterpiece point of this figure, as with a couple of folds and twists of certain sections you not only end up with a pair of rotating, hinged shoulders and hinged elbow articulation, you also receive a fist punching-action gimmick! (Dubbed the Punch of Kill Everything!) ...
(This is all unheard of and is a major selling point amongst a number of collectors )

    2. Have a size and stature that is quite hulking in silhouette and gives one the impression of quite a monstrously imposing character that shows little emotion with his singular forward mounted eye and skeletal lower jaw, along with a strong chin.
This is all drawn from his original Transformers Animated incarnation and has been translated into a more realistic looking form with great finesse and true expertise which could of only have come from a leading and experienced Japanese Toy engineer.

    3. Being Glorious in his Impervious, Gloriousness!

RTS Voyager Class Lugnut is a shining example of modern transforming robot toy design coupled with engaging and distinct character.
This is a toy that is very easily recommended to any collector of almost any age but especially to those who also love Aircraft, truly this figure in it's Alt mode is utterly exceptional but his Bot mode is equally tremendous.
In my opinion, RTS Lugnut has very few peers in his line or from other lines over the past couple of years, he is a standout toy who should be owned by everyone, including those who can't stand Transformers Animated... Like me.

I like Lugnut. found one from Target finally hehehe. Good thing my figure doesnt suffer from the looseness of hips and shoulders that Klystron was saying. But then again I kinda sifted through 5 figures on the shelf before finally selecting this one. I really like the wing into arms transformation. Head movement is hampered though but that minor for me. I like the figure's sizing too and the altmode... very nice. the undercarriage works for him - but not on OcTankor sadly.

Despite not really wanting this toy, I couldn't resist picking him up for $22.

He's definitely better than Animated Lugnut IMO, which I always found to be a massive disappointment of a toy and poor excuse of a Voyager Class toy. The two halves of the front of the plane actually stays in place instead of having a super sensitive hair trigger like on my Animated Luggie. And the Atomic Lugnut colours actually works well on this mould and gives it a more realistic looking colour scheme compared to Animated Luggie's "tribute to BW Hardhead" colours. No joint looseness on mine.

It's a nice toy... don't know if I'd go out to say it's an exceptionally awesome toy. I'd initially voted on "Not interested," but now that I have the toy, I'd probably say "Only if cheap."

Question: What universe does this character belong to? Classicsverse or Movieverse? Or something else???

Classicsverse, he was seen in the battle in space pack in comic.

Although I wasn’t much of a fan of Animated (at first) when I first saw pictures of RTS Lugnut I knew I had to have it, but no matter how many stores in my area I went to I could never find it, but I eventually got him

His transformation is quite good and there is very little robot mode kibble in vehicle mode (robot fingers is about all)

His vehicle mode while evoking the Animated character is unique to this Lugnut and looks awesome. Though I was a little annoyed that the front cockpit section was made of soft plastic (and thus might warp)

His robot mode is GLORIOUS. Having a moveable head AND JAW, poseable arms MADE FROM HIS WINGS! Which both feature the P.O.K.E! His legs thanks to his large toes allow for him to remain standing in many poses. And best of all. HE'S NOT SHORTER THAN A DELUXE! (Sorry animated Luggy)

at first I was a little annoyed that he wasn’t the same colour scheme as the Animated Lugnut but I can accept that this colour scheme works better for a more realistic version

Lugnut is one of the best transformers I’ve bought in ages. I think any transformer fan should get him

Interestingly even though I went all over the place looking for it and eventually found 1 at a target about a 1 hour drive from where I live. the next week I found 6 Lugnuts at my local Toyworld. lol

    Lugnut is a multiversal singularity.
