Have you even bothered to ask if you can have them (or buy them)?

What's the worst response you can get, no? Or they quote you some ridiculous price?

Either way, you're no worse off - if you don't ask, you don't know, so at least ask and see what response you get.

You might even end up with them for free.

You're right, I haven't actually asked for them yet. They live in Sydney but other family members have laid it out for me.

Getting the toys isn't really the rant. I'm to scared to touch my G1's after a few breakages occured and that wasn't even from playing with them, just transforming them. I can just see what will happen in the hands of a child. I think it's great for the younger generation to enjoy what we enjoyed as children, /the toys are just so fragile.

Seriously getting pissed off at my internet connection at home... constant drop-outs, speeds have slowed down dramatically because Bigpond think the best thing they can do is implement a stability profile on my line. Don't know whether the modem/router/phone lines/splitters are to blame. F**k it, I never had issues with my connection when I had a 2wire modem, I'm going to buy a brand new one tomorrow - then smash the piece of sh!t DM111P with my sledgehammer, go to my local Dick Smith and throw it at the dumb c**t that sold me it.

Mine is the same... Although my internet drops whenever my bad enters the room also (soooooo annoying)...

Anyway, I'm not really venting. I'm just in a state of melancholy at the moment.
I permanently broke up with my girlfriend of 3 years last night. It was for the best... Now I can't be bothered doing anything though.

Yeah you have to try at least. Point out that they are old toys not designed to today's "safety standards" and the kid might take an eye out, swallow some small sharp parts or have lead paint poisoning

Oh man, that is an evil predicament to be in - I'd just hit them up for them dude, what's the worst they could say? No?

I'm sorry to hear dude, whilst I'm fairly certain it is most likely a line problem with Telstra - You've got to do what you've got to do.
Don't bust it though, keep it just in case the newer one doesn't work.

I'm sorry to hear mate ,
It's never easy and I know what you mean about suddenly having a severe lack of motivation to do anything.
It took me 4 years after I broke up with my last GF to regain any sort of momentum or motivation and it sent me a little of the rails...

Point is though dude you need to talk it over with people you trust and do your best to put it behind you, don't let it consume you like I did.

Gamblor makes some very good pints LCO, offer to exchange them with PCCs!
