It's referring to the gun. I guess it transforms when you stick it in Prime's hand.

So he's the same height as Masterpiece Rodimus but how tall is that exactly? I'd only be interested in geting this new Optimus Prime if it was reasonably in scale with the Classics/Generations Autobot cars.

Hmm...same size as MP Roddy hey? This just went from a 'must-have' to a 'wait for reviews and see'. It looks pretty cool but it's still kinda big for my tastes - I was hoping for something Faith Leader sized so it would sorta work with Classics etc, but MP Roddy is kinda tall. The head looks much improved, the HA-capable command bay is a nice touch and the trukk mode is far better, but the extra-long limbs aren't doing it for me and it needs some paint apps on the side windows.

Also, no wrist communicators or mini-Megatron? I hope he can use the Legends Megs or something.

the thing that i want is the human spike to be in scale with the DOTM HA figures. I'd love to have Sargent chaos driving optimus

..not if you've seen the original 1986 movie! I think it's awesome they added in that feature.

I'm really tempted to pick one up, but at $250US (even with the AUD being powerhouse atm) I just can't justify spending that much. $150 would be a good price

He keeps his rifle in his back, fair enough, but it says his 'backside'. It just doesn't sound right

The photo shows the weapon is stored in his back. In regards to the term "backside" being used, I do believe Kup was spot on when he stated

Exactly what I was thinking, I reckon you're both dead-right on that one.
Mind you, it doesn't bother me too much seems I'm not ponying-up the dough on something that isn't worth it.

I like the look of this Prime, in better proportions.
But how much of it is Die-cast/Plastic?

But I still love my MP Prime - Hasbro + Takara versions
I don't mind having a Prime bigger than the other Masterpieces.
