I'd just like to say...
Happy 15th Birthday Quake!
Today marks the 15th Anniversary of the game that defined FPS Multiplayer Gaming over the Internet but also the game that brought FPSs into the 3rd Dimension.
Have a read of this blog entry over at Bethesda celebrating the event of which also has a lovely reminiscing letter from the FPS God himself: John Carmack, as well as the QuakeWorld Launch of '96 video.
Ah... So many great memories of mowing down my mates here with my home LAN every afternoon after school.

Also if anyone wants a free RPG game the dudes/dudettes at classic-gaming have released the apparently classic 'Dark Stone', it's an old PS-one/PC game that is very similar to Diablo (now abandonware). I played some of it not long ago but couldn't last long - I can't play games anymore for more than an hour without getting a headache!
Good game though, graphics may be a bit old but seems to offer lots of gameplay

I dont care what others say, modern sonic is cool (and clasic sonic has a timeless charm)
For those of you interested PSN has a demo of the upcoming Sonic Generations available
however the demo only features clasic sonic in green hill, well at least it was free, cant wait for the full game to come out
