February Finds

Went toy hunting with HD after a LONG absence.

Few things to report.
-TF Prime is now out in HK. Alot of people have snap up Wheeljack and Soundwave. Heaps of Cliffjumpers and Bumblebees as far as they eye can see. Japanese Prime First edition are out, and they look about 2000 times better than the Hasbro versions.
- Maketoys Devastator Yellow will be out in less than 6 weeks we are told.
- Maketoys The Fallen is scheduled for mid year
- Maketoys Green Devastator around May (pending on sales of Yellow devastator).
- Hobbybase still have thousands of DOTM toys - they are now being heavily discounted because "no one wants them".
- Alot of TF united figures out now including the new series.
-Heaps of Windcharger packs so no one should be worried about not getting him. Also heaps of older figures
- Hercules is out and exceptionally popular here. Lots of displays around.
- Fansproject items are being restocked

A few good rumours for you:
- Fall of Cybertron Dinobots are being made in China as we speak Expect the toys for display at Botcon 2011 (in April)
- Fansproject Stunticons are believed to be on the radar as well as 2-3 other figures.






What I bought:
TF United Stepper (photos to come)
Maketoys Not Powerglide and Not Seaspray.
(initial impressions - poorly made, plastic is cheap and Not-powerglide almost fell apart upon opening the box.

Anyway, today's rewards for surviving a pretty full-on week scores were DotM Quejack and Voyager Highbrow. I only got Highbrow 'cos he was 30% off on a reduced price, so he was about ~1300 yen, or ~$12-14 AU.

Recent acquisitions after a few very slow months were G1 Bumblebee and Warpath (thanks to Giegerrock-2, cheers again mate).

And there is nothing better than a gift-former. Yesterday a few of my Y12 students from last year were waiting at my office door to say hi, thanks, oh and by the way here's jetwing optimus prime for you!! (They also gave me a "world's biggest nerd medal" but I forgave them because of optimus!)

Welp, no TFPRIDE Arcees at Hero Gangu and the Deluxe TM2 Dinobot I had my eye on at Jungle was gone, so I snapped up a cheap HtfD Tomahawk and Reissue Thundercracker & Skywarp 2pack.
Eventually Tomahawk will be repainted into an Odieverse Rotorstorm.
