Are you talking about 'brick' stores or online? There are a few online stores reviewed in the Saleyard section. There's feedback topics for actiontoys.com, Transformerland, Amazon.com, BigBadToyStore, Robot Kingdom etc.
    New Acquisitions:
    TR Astrotrain, Skullsmasher, & Hardhead

So, I started watching beast wars. AWESOME show!!! So, related to that, I was wondering if the Universe Cheetor and Dinobot are any good? They look quite good and I'm considering starting a Beast wars esque portion in my collection. What are some really good Beast Wars or Beastverse (BW classicsverse?) figures? Also, does universe dinobot have a faction changing thingo on his chest? Thanks.

The Universe Cheetor mold is sadly a gimmick compromised figure that looks amazing in Beast mode but unfortunately iffy in Bot mode.
The Universe Dinobot mold is apparently really quite good but the Hasbro release has all the wrong colours, the Henkei release is the best one by far but costs an arm & a leg.

As there was only 2 BW figures made for the 'Classicsverse' lines (Thus far ), your best bet is to go after the original toys as they are plentiful and are quite affordable whilst also being excellent toys/effigies in their own right.

    My own recommendations would be:
    • Transmetal 2 - Megatron
    • Transmetal - Optimal Optimus
    • Transmetal - Rampage
    • Transmetal - Depthcharge
    • Transmetal - Tarantulas
    • Transmetal - Rattrap
    • Original - Dinobot
    • Transmetal 2 - Dinobot
    • Original - Cheetor
    • Transmetal - Cheetor
    • Fuzor - Quickstrike
    • Fuzor - Silverbolt
    • Original - Waspinator
    • Original - Tigatron
    • Transmetal 2 - Tigerhawk
    • And many, many more...

If you can afford to, I recommend going for any of the 10th Anniversary or Japanese Telemocha repaints of these figures as they tend to be far more show accurate.

    Thanks Hursti.
Also, the universe 2 pack Optimus Prime sucks, doesn't it? Because if it's alright it's worth a consideration. The deluxe one btw.

I can vouch for this It was almost a grail to me because I was unwilling to pay the disgusting $70-100 eBay price for this, and finally found it in a tiny corner of a tiny corner in HK for $25.

If you don't mind characters that weren't in the American Beast Wars shows (I'm sure Hursti's has these in mind): Magnaboss, Tripredacus/Tripledacus, and the beautiful Magmatron - all fine toys and great display pieces

Tripredacus was in the Canadian show... but the show models weren't toy-accurate. (and they certainly never combined)

    Default Velocirotor Blade Sold Seperately

Universe Dinobot is a pretty spiffy toy in his own right. Shame they had to sacrifice the Rotate-Blade, though.

    Default Encore mort max

Anyone know an Aussie store or location where I can pre order fort max? Don't want to pay extra shipping at BBTS or the other American stores
