Yeah... I copped a bad attitude from a duty manager at a TRU last year when I was calling around asking about MP Optimus Prime. I promptly called TRU head office and made a complaint.

Why is it that after I search high and low, I find another after another?

Prime Vehicon spotted at Big W Jesmond, Newcastle. Hot Shots and others too. Lots of voyager Megatrons.

Is that some arm articulation I see?

If so, that is a step in the right direction for these figures. Another would be to make them somewhat affordable/comparable to other toys of similar size.

I believe so, but I'm not certain if it's intentional or part of the transformation mechanism.

The new articulation could be intentional, or could be part of the new gimmick with the second series - allowing the toys to flip, jump or spin when launching/transforming.

This is what Carlingford has. Nothing unusual.

Which brings us to where we are today...

Ah I didn't realise they had adapted the transforming mechanism. Only bought a Wave 1 3 pack on clearance and wasn't impressed. May have to buy one to check it out.
