None of them are upside down for me.
It looks like they are nearly Pristine, I'd love them both but couln't pay you enough for what I imagine they are worth. Largely because I'm a cheapskate.
I haven't looked at mint sealed G1 toys in a long while so I can't give you an accurate number. i'm not even sure where to look. perhaps eBay and check the items that have actually sold as there are often very high unrealistic listings on there as well.
Wow, depends how fast you wanting to sell? Want to sell them together or ok to separate? Willing to post to Melbourne?
I've made an offer so I wont be adding my valuation to the thread. These are the last two I need MISB....
Wow! Amazing to see. I bet those are worth a pretty penny!
Dibbiemac - you should be able to get $200+ for each one.
As far as I can tell, neither have been Knocked Off "in Gen1 box" yet, so IF they are both still sealed on both sides of the boxes... you could get a fair bit for them.
But be aware that ebay US prices are often significantly higher than ebay AU prices, as there is greater demand over there which drives up the prices.
Also note - since both have been reissued a few times (they both were even legitimately produced for the Chinese market in the 90s), the value is only if they are still sealed. They both can fetch a fair bit sealed ($200 for Ramjet, $400 for "rub sign" Starscream), but if either end of the box has the tape cut or broken, you might only get about $50-100 for each.
Ramjets sold on ebay in the last few months...
US$252 (auction) - bubble sealed but not the box, damaged box.
US$200 (buy it now) - sealed
under US$200 (offer accepted) - bubble sealed but not the box, worn box.
US$130 (buy it now) - bubble partially unsealed, open box. Comes with a non-sealed AFA box.
Starscream is an odd one, as my couple of searches didn't find any sealed originals that were NOT being sold as "AFA graded" (the toy is sent to a company in America that seals and rates your toys).
As such, if you wanted to spend a little time and money on your Starscream, you could look up the "toygrader" site and get your Starscream AFA graded. It isn't anything officially endorse by toy companies, but it is accepted as a qualified authority by toy collectors (essentially guaranteeing the quality and contents of the toy inside).
US$1000 (buy it now) - AFA sealed box (rub sign version, like yours - the black square on the top of the jet)
US$830 (auction) - AFA sealed box (rub sign version)
US$209 (buy it now) - not AFA, NOT sealed, toy removed from bubble, box damaged (rub sign version)
US$202 (buy it now) - not AFA, NOT sealed, toy removed from bubble, box damaged (rub sign version)
This means that you should be able to get between US$200 and US$800 for Starscream on ebay as an auction, and about US$200 for Ramjet. Even more if they are AFA graded (which can cost a bit of money though, so is a gamble).
If you are willing to sell them, and are happy with a price below $200, you can list them here for sale if you want, and hopefully they go to a fan, and not someone who is planning to just resell them for quick profit.
So do some homework if you want best value from these figures and can sit on them for a while, but if you just want the current demand value, put them up on ebay America as separate auctions, making sure that Americans can buy them (ship worldwide & list on Ebay US).
