I must be an unlucky sod!! Everything was pretty perfect with my Wheeljack until I flipped the headsculpt up during my first transformation!! GGAAHHH!!!! I just cant live with that mark on his face plate, so will ask for at least a replacement faceplate (easy to do if you just unscrew it on the back of the head).

That mark might just rub off. Or well nothing a little silver paint could not fix in a few seconds.

Not battle damage. Wheeljack is a:
“Mad scientist”. If two words ever described an individual, these two describe Wheeljack to a tee. Always building new gadgets and weaponry, He gleefully cackles with enthusiasm for his latest “project”, even when it blows up in his face.

Plastic I am afraid, I buying it because is accurate.

To be honest we won't be seeing much metal if you want to see them carry on this line. Is a bit disappointing comparing to binaltech for price wise but that's what it is. I am only glad that the paint apps are pretty good.

There's most definitely a weight to him, albeit just plastic, obviously not as much as there'd be if Diecast were present but to me he feels ever so slightly heavier than G2 Sideswipe (Closest to hand at time).

You may be happy to hear though that Yuki tweeted a day or so ago, if my interpretation of Google's translation is any good , he's introduced Diecast parts to both MP Ultra Magnus AND MP Star Saber.
(What parts and where? - I'm not too sure if that's mentioned though )

Nooooo, I don't want MP's to go back to the days of diecast. It's so easy to damage the paint on diecast.

Anyway, just got Wheeljack. I actually transformed him perfectly without instructions or videos. I did however miss the mirrors included in the manual's baggie.

After them making a big deal out of the missile being fireable I'm sad to see it's a very tight pressure missile. Since Lego can fit a spring loaded missile in a small 1x4 brick I would have thought Takara would have the ability to include a spring in Wheeljack's launcher.
