did you use the Auspost tracking or the tracking option through eBay? I find the eBay tracking option once you've put the tracking number in to be utterly useless but the Auspost tracking from the Auspost website has always worked for me.

It was a computer game in a bubble-envelope, that was thin enough to fit through their "envelope" slot, so it wasn't being charged as a parcel... which meant it didn't have tracking as a standard feature like parcels.

As such, I asked and paid for registered post, to cover myself against buyers who receive items but claim they never got it (and then get it for free because they get a refund for it).

This morning Australia Post sent an email to say that the item had miraculously appeared a day after I complained about them not utilising the extra thing I was paying for (registered post), and was now scheduled for delivery today... 11 days after it was posted from Brisbane to Victoria.

Can I ask how'd this happen?

On the upside, there's another 1,999 units somewhere around the world should you ever think about replacing the whole lot.

You just did. Rubber deteriorates over time; as to why the rubber on this toy deteriorated faster than on other toys (e.g. my other G1 Optimus Prime reissues), I don't know.

Eh... the hose is (was) identical to the one on any standard Optimus Prime reissue, of which I still have two others of. I'm not keen on purchasing this toy again just to replace the hose, especially if I have to pay inflated aftermarket prices for it (I paid 5000JPY/$50 for mine). Okay, I just looked at eBay and the counterfeit costs $53! No.

The first step is admitting you have a problem.

Unlike the toys, there are a few more steps though....

Seriously though, what do you think about the engineering? I have a few. Lockdown, Stelljaw and Helicopter drift. They are simple to transform but to me the hard work was done on the design table making it easy to transform them. I dig em.

I'd like the One Step Changers more if they were cheaper. (-_-) I look at toys like MP Bumblebee and think, "That was worth every dollar," whereas I look at the One Step Changers and feel ripped off.
