Took my first foray into ordering from Amazon Japan today (am kind of kicking myself for not doing so earlier given how much cheaper it is), and missed out on pre-ordering Arcee by about an hour or so.![]()
Right now I've got it strung up to the wall and roof struts in the shed with bailing twine in about 5 different places, not a lot more I can do until we extend the house in 10 months time, just hope for the best and then liquid-nail him back together after the move (if he lasts until then).

I can't believe this! I bought a MISB G1 Insecticon from Ebay US. The box had some dings (which I was ok with) but the most important part was there was no flap crease at all - which the photos show clearly. The item arrived today, and the seller has folded the flap over to make it fit into a smaller shipping box!!
My $200 insecticon now has a big flap crease on the back, and is practically worthless to meThere is no way I would have bid if there was a flap crease originally.
I am in utter disbelief at how someone could think this was acceptable! They have sold a lot of TF items, so they are well aware of the value. For them to casually fold the flap down like it meant nothing is just mind boggling! I've fired them a message to see how they respond.

That sucks! I would be giving him some negative feedback, which I assume you have done, especially for such an expensive figure.
Depending on how the seller handles it, I might leave neutral - at best. I'll give them the chance to rectify the situation first though. It's heartbreaking that this figure has endured more than 30 years, only to be irrepairbly damaged by someone trying to save a few bucks on postage![]()
It's so minty you'd be suspicious that KOs of the Insecticons existed... so to do that to something so rare (no flap crease) is almost criminal because it's like vandalism.
That's something that can't be undone... and if it weren't for AFA sealing of boxes, it would be even rarer.
I can imagine how furious you'd be, expecting something so rare, to then be destroyed so carelessly. At least you can get your money back through ebay, because they have the dispute option of "item is not as described or shown" or something to those words.
