It had me thinking that ebay/paypal would be good for money laundering. You post up something that is so expensive that no one else would buy it, but you or your associate pays for the item with a separate account... even though no goods or physical money changes hands.

I feel like there's a few other foreign TF names that are amusing cultural references (like this TV tie in) but I can only think of Cosmos being called Adams in Japan (which is not quite the same thing but along the same lines).

For our New South Welshmen members looking for a potentially cheap generations Metroplex, here's one on bid which ends in a couple of days. Pickup only, it's loose and may not be complete according to the pics but is currently sitting on a grand total of $1.

Oh man. If that was in VIC I'd buy it purely for a second Red gun for mine.

Hell if I could buy it cheap enough, I'd consider giving the main figure to someone in NSW if they could pick it up and send me the guns.

Not really sure if this is a good price or not for metroplex but it is complete by the looks of it http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...583215&alt=web

Wow, that's worth following up, it's just over an hour from my place. and for the cost of petrol it would certainly be worth picking up.

I can see some custom practice and a second gun for my Metroplex incoming.

    Well that escalated quickly...
I was willing to put up to $20 but now it is up to $31... and it would already have been a 5 hr drive to pick up.
