i think they are trying to establish that transformation is not necessarily always something "separate" in the sense that you press a button and wait and watch the animation but something that can happen instantly and on the fly to include in the combos and action.

i think i read somewhere this is the company that made bayonetta? i've got that on ps3 and never got around to finishing it but it does have a pretty hilarious wacky appeal and it is pretty fun.

*having watched some of that video, i can definitely see the bayonetta influence, it looks outrageous and fun actually now!
