If this has the smoother paint job I may just get another, so many retailers seem to have pictures of the smoother paint job, with two now calling it a reissue, is it possible that TAKTOM waited for the heat to die down and have now re-issued it per the original paint scheme?

it seems really unlikely to me.

Should have went back to original rooftop design, I buy it in a heartbeat.

Hey UM, what's this smoother paint job you referring to? I'm no longer collecting MP line & haven't been following as closely.

the original paint design for exhaust had the chevron shapes very close to the Marlboro logo, after being hassled by Marlboro the design was changed so the smooth curve of the chevron was stepped, almost digitised. the green chevrons on the sides of the bonnet were made simple solid rectangles and other minor changes were made. the closer paint scheme was never released but it's what's being shown in the promotional images of this 'reissue' of exhaust on sites like anime export and Premium collectables.

Ur oh, this is on Amiami as well, I wonder did they realised this or is this the unaltered version.

HLJ got the pictures RIGHT though as it is the stepped version.

I can't imagine how it could be the smooth version as i'm sure there would be legitimate kickback from Phillip Morris.

I have asked Amiami, but I think it would be the stepped one.

Not to mention all the collectors that paid high prices for the stepped one.

HLJ sold out again... no wonder there was a second release.

Supplies seem to keep on being exhausted.
