Until I started with MP and been paying this much I got curious to open the boxes and check that they did not put a My Little Pony in it (though my daughter would love it)

My Hasbro Roddy is fine. Transformed a few weeks ago with no issue. I have a Takara Roddy waiting to see how it goes, I think there are a few minor problems with it like the wings scalping in the trailer and the backpack not staying connected properly.

But otherwise, my MP experience is a positive one. I expect it will continue to be so.

Hasbro actually fixed some of the issues from TakaraTOMY Rodimus, including thickening the tabs on the gun handles so that they can actually be held properly. The spoiler does clip in better on the back of the robot, although still prone to dropping off (just not as prone as TakTOM's).

So there is rumoured that some ratchet have a Red Cross you need to open to find out. Lol

Anyway I don't keep my toys in boxes. Even now when I have hardly the time to play with them I still make the effort to inspect what I bought.

The International Red Cross cracked down on the use of Red Cross being used by anyone else sometime in the 90s - it's why you more likely see a green cross used on first aid kits etc - but that would look very wrong here.

Back to the figure: for some reason, I also think it looks better than Ironhide. Must be the white. It's also got a nice selection of accessories

I recall in the late 90's there was a SWAT style First person shooter set in Las Vegas that had intended on using the Red Cross emblem on health packs in-game. they were enforced not to, for all of the reasons listed above.

While you wouldn't think an emblem on a toy or in a war type game would impact the effect of the symbol, in peace or war time, them be the rules.

I actually quite like the look of the cross with the Autobot sigil in front of it like that.

Looking at Ratchet on my Phone over the weekend, there's something about all the white that doesn't appeal as much as the Ironhide. maybe the lighting?

I think that may be due to the angle that we're seeing the second face from... if you look at the pic, we're viewing the eyeholes from under the point of the crest:



So I think most of that bug-eyed look wont be seen once the face is on because the crest will be covering it.

Nothing new til I noticed the accessories and contents included. It says includes Marking Seal (sticker sheet). So it may be for the crosses as the sample shown at Bic Camera event has none.
