The quality is good, although they look awkward really.
Is this the same thing as the KOs of the alternators that I saw whilst in Singapore? In car mode they looked almost identical.

Most of the major stores here are taking the SE Classics, but they won't be here until January.

These were issued out way before as I said I saw em when Armada was the current TF line being pushed by Hasbro. The KO Alts ( which are more recent releases) Im not sure if its the same company but I did see em as well in Phil's when the Alt/BTs released were only up to Hound yet. They do look identical except for the auto symbol, but the Kos tend to easily break in the plastic parts, hence you get to watch your money go down the drain in a snap when you try to transform and become overzealous with it. I wont recommend it, mebbe for custom fodder or parts ( the metal ones) but thats it.
Wanted AM partner Vanguard, Myclones Dirge, G1 Victory Leo, e-hobby Dark scream ( the black version), e-hobby Magnificus
Parts- AM partner Basher-side guns, G1 Actionmaster Elite Windmill's blades[I][B]

I was tempted to get one just to see what they were like. But from the sounds of it, I made the right decision in not doing so.

No real reason. That's why they don't have human-like faces in the live action movie - there's no practical need for it. Some people complained that the movie TFs look "ugly" but it makes sense. I personally really like the real alien and other-worldly look of the movie TF designs.

Sometimes in the comic Optimus Prime was shown to have a speaker underneath his faceplate.
