I'd recommend Photobucket.com as it is extremely easy to upload, modify, sort and post one's pics.
They also give you a large amount of Bandwidth and Storage (10Gb) for a free account, with an option for more bandwidth and larger storage for a reasonable fee, and they link to pretty much every Social Media site known to man with no hassle; though I've never used any of the SM features as my online socialising consists of OTCA and that's pretty much it.

I use flickr.com
It takes a little time to use, but is easy to search for other people's uploads (if a google photos search doesn't work), based on tags or photo names.

There are also "insert link" and "insert Image" icons at the top of the reply box on this forum. I copy the image link from Photobucket and paste in the dialogue box that turns up when clicking one of those icons.
If you'r looking to catalogue your collection you might want to also try the itfdb
